If you do what one do you have and do you love it?
Since LO is sitting very well on her own now I'd like to be able to put her in the cart, but being the germ-phobe that I am I will need to cover that sucker in something

Another vote for the Cloud! It is bulky in restaurant high chairs but I still like it for carts.

Good question - I've been meaning to ask about this. I want one because without it, I feel the cart seat is too hard on LO's tush. I just wasn't sure if it was a necessity, though.

My friend gave me hers, but I doubt I'll use it-- I think it's a hassle. I never sat in a cart with one and my butt is fine and I never got sick

I do use a cart cover, I am not sure what the brand is but it was only about $15 at Target

nope! I'd rather babywear at the grocery or just wipe the cart down.

I used cart covers a lot in the beginning but now they're just a pain to carry around. So I'll usually just wipe and then maybe place a blanket over the chair part for cushion since I always carry a blanket with me.

I don't.
I used to put LO in the ergo until she was 1. Now, I'll put a blanket down and sit her in the cart.
Didn't want to spend money on something I wasn't going to use too often.
