Does Carter's not make 12 month Sleep and Plays?! We've lived in them all winter, and I can't imagine using two piece pajamas for her in only a few months... Someone please tell me I'm just looking in the wrong spot or something!!

Sleep in Plays stop at 9 months. The one piece PJs are cut differently after that.

I was so upset when I found out about this! They still have some one piece pjs but they're not the same.

@ms.janedoe: I think the two piece are so much easier. I don't want to use one piece again this winter.

They still make one piece pjs, but I think they are the snug fit ones. BUT they have grip on the feet for the new walkers, so I don't mind them!

@ms.janedoe: we've been using 12 month 2 pieces for a few weeks now and they're so much easier! I love them!

@ms.janedoe: I thought the same thing, but then I bought some two-piece and I. am. never. going. back. They are so much easier!

Carter's 12 month ones are super snug fit. I switched to Children's Place ones. They're still snug, but not super snug. At almost 2 years old, I still love one pieces.

@cascademom: @Adira: am I right tht they are tighter to comply with te fire safety regulations? I didnt realize they were different but I guess it makes sense. The two piece pjs look so much like big kid pjs, I can't deal! She's still a baby!!

@cascademom: We got some 12 M one piece from Carter's as a hand me down and they are so hard to get on that I don't use them.

@Foodnerd81: I believe that that's true! Xander's skinny, so the snug pjs fit him perfectly, but I know a lot of other people have issues with them!

@Foodnerd81: @Smurfette: I ended up selling my Carter's 12 month ones. They were ungodly tight. Children's Place has been comfortable for LO. I'm hoping that the 3Ts won't be so snug in the future. The 2T's have been fitting well for the summer. He has one that makes him look like a lizard. It's awesome.

Carter's makes 2 different styles in 12 m and up. They make the snug fit, but they do still make looser fitting ones too.

Yea, I was sad to find out they stop at 9 months too. Super sad panda over here. DS has been sleeping in 2 piece pajamas all spring and he looks so darn cute in them! I do like the 1 piece ones bc DS likes to pull up his shirt and scratch the crap out of his belly. The 1 piece PJs prevent this.

@loveisstrange: Are those the jersey ones? How does the fabric feel? I never got him jersey because I guessed that it would be too light and not quite as warm as cotton.

@loveisstrange: Ahh. I like the Children's Place ones because it's loose enough for him to grow into it while being just heavy enough for the summer with the cotton. My years of working at the Gap at showing through.

@Alivoo01: We prefer one piece because of this as well. Xander has eczema so whenever he's in a two piece, he scratches at his back really bad!
