Inspired by the CD addicts thread… I pulled out our CDs again to use at home. One thing I never really know - for wet diapers - how do you really know? And do you change more often or less often than with disposables? I think I tend to change more, just because I can't tell. If it's even just a tiny bit damp, I change. With disposables it's so easy to tell.

I change every 2-3 hours. I change disposables every 3-4 hours.

I change every 2-ish hours or before we leave the house/after a nap. I can only tell after I remove the diaper and feel the weight of it. I figure the "perk" of cloth diapering is that even if I change a clean or barely wet dipe I don't feel like I'm wasting a perfectly good and paid for disposable.

I also change every two hours or so.

We always changed diapers (cloth and disposable) every 2 hours under the age of 1 and every 3 hours over the age of 1 (with the exception of nighttime).

As DS has been more uncooperative lately, I wait 3-4 hours, or unless he pooped, needs to nap or we are going out. He doesn't care if he has wet or poopy diapers, although I do think it's so sweet he has been telling me he has poop in his diaper, but....he still doesn't want me to change it!

We change every 2 hours because DS is a very heavy wetter. Even with a second insert on top of whatever layer/insert there is, he still manages to wet through them sometimes. It has happened so often that I usually just put him in a disposable if I know we are going to be gone longer than an hour.

I change about every 2-ish hours.
