For the most part I do love it. There are things that I do get annoyed with, like the constant laundry. We went on a 10 day vacation and when we got home it was back to the reality of all the laundry that I'm always doing. But when I think about it it's worth it to me, I'd rather do the laundry and save money and help the enviroment.

@pastemoo: I use my extra disposables from vacations as gifts for friends- I'll usually make them into diaper cakes if I have an open bag. That way I don't have to use them! I can't believe you only have 8. How often do you do laundry? I have 30 one size, I do laundry every other day. I also have all in one, because I knew I'd be too lazy for stuffing.

We're 1 month in and I'm loving it. Her little fluffy butt makes me smile.

I hate my FuzziBunz too. Thank god mine were used and DIRT cheap. I love, love my BG 4.0s.

@Baby Boy Mom: Cute. DH just goes with whatever since he changes less than 5% of the diapers.

@Coco Bee: health was what started me on cloth too. My mom always told me that she didn't want plastic touching my tushy, and that stuck with me. But now a days you can find good disposables, you just have to pay for them.

@pastemoo: I always just save them until a friend becomes pregnant for a diaper cake to take to the shower. Seems like there's always a shower to go to, and that way I barely have to spend money on the gift.

I'm loving them, especially now that we went over our future budget and the baby pretty much costs us no money. (Breastfed and cloth diapered).

Re: favourite diapers, ours is BG and we also dislike FB, but mostly because they are annoyingly small to stuff (and I even have long skinny hands). We had a newborn stash, and then bought one of about 5 different brands, which we used every now and then as he was growing out of the newborn stash. That helped us to decide what brand to get for the rest of the stash.

I'm worried that when he's not EBF that I'll start disliking it. We do have a diaper sprayer for when that time comes, but I'm still worried.

I do laundry every 2 or 3 days. I only have 2 overnight soaker pads, so if I wait for the 3rd day, i'm asking for a leak for sure, even if I double-stuff.
I'm also worried that he'll pee too much overnight one day. He's only 3 months, and already fully soaks a BG liner plus a soaker, so we get leaks overnight about once a week, and I'm thinking he might start leaking every night. I'm worried that I'll be one of those 'sposies for night time' people.

I did use 2 packs of newborn diapers in the hospital (we were in for a while). And then I gave the other one I was gifted to a friend. I was going to use sposies when we went on a road trip, but DH insisted that we just ask to use the laundry room of the people we were staying with. So, other than the hospital, we still haven't used disposables. And I had a diaper cake given to me, so I have lots of sposies kicking around.

I love it! And we're one of those "disposables for nighttime" people; it's only one a day and it saves me from going through twice as many diapers--the bug can soak through 3 cloth bums a night, easy.

I use gdiapers and do a mix of cloth and flushable inserts. I love that I can use both. When we went on vacation we just used the flushables and it was so easy.

I really am enjoying CDing, but there are times when I just don't want to deal with it. I allow myself to take a break when I get weary of the cloth. Like today, for example.

@MsMamaBear: which ones are you using now instead of honest?

@MrsHotDog: I have the organic pads that snap into the shells. The pads just get so stiff and seem really uncomfortable for my LO.... I tried stripping them but they still feel like cardboard!

I also bought the Grovia diaper rash stick and my LO had a skin reaction. I tried it again after the rash went away and she had the same reaction. I called their customer service since it was a $14 stick and they basically told me tough luck and blamed it on the way I wash my diapers. I asked if I could send it back for a refund or store credit and they refused, they said it was opened so they could not resell it.. I will never buy another Grovia product again!

I like it. I'm cheap so I hate spending money on disposables, it just feels like throwing money away when I already have my diapers. This time of year I like how they look when she's in only a onesie, feels like part of her outfit.

I'm happy I did a lot of research before picking my diapers, because I've seen quite a few brands that I think would have made me crazy.

Oh, and the laundry is no big deal to me, but i don't have to stuff mine and I don't do anything fancy in the wash. I just chuck them in and push all the buttons.

@Coco Bee: Mine, too! He pees through ANYTHING. Luckily he only poops through disposables.
