As I enter this world of CDing I am finding out new thnigs everyday. CDing is not the norm where we live and I actually only know 1 person that has done it. We aren't close or anything though she is an old friend of my older sister. Anyways do you use cloth wipes or disposable? Which is easier? With the cloth wipes do you just spritz water on them or use a solution? Also how many cloth wipes do you have if you use them. All the advice I can get would be great. Thanks

I have about 50 cloth wipes and I use a wipe warmer. A wipe warmer definitely isn't essential but we love it. We just dampen the wipes with water and put them in the warmer and go through the wipes every two days or so...
Using cloth wipes is definitely easy if you cloth diaper! -
We use cloth wipes and find them to be more effective and easier than disposable (no second trash can or anything). We use a reusable travel wipes case and wet about 5 wipes at a time with water (ring them out so you don't have a soaked wipe) and keep them in that case. That way, we are sure to use them before bacterial growth or other issues could arise. Yes, sometimes this means we do this twice a day but not a big deal overall for us. We have about 30 wipes in our stash. After changing a poopy diaper we just rinse the wipe off, squeeze it out, and throw it in the pail with the diaper (this is all post solids, pre-solids and EBF we wouldn't do anything other than throw it in the pail).

We use cloth wipes at home and biodegradable wipes when out and about. We bought a bunch of fine terry playtex rags and we just run them under the faucet before using. We probably have about 20.

I use cloth wipes. I probably have the most annoying method, but i fill a yogurt container with hot water each time i have to change her diaper and dampen the cloth in that. I can reuse it a couple of times before i put it in my wet bag (planetwise is so awesome).

I use cloth wipes and it is so much easier because everything goes in the same pail. I have 60 (which is more than you need) of the Spasilk washcloths that you can buy on amazon for $6.99 for a pack of ten. I just wet a big handful of them in the sink, wring them out, then keep them in a bowl.

I use cloth. I have two spray bottles on the changing table to wet wipes as needed. The "pee" bottle is full of just water. The "poop" bottle is full of a solution made with Kissaluv's Diaper Lotion Potion concentrate.

We use cloth wipes and have about 50. I use a big spray bottle with homemade solution (California diaper wash + witch hazel + distilled water). I keep some disposable wipes on hand for extra gross situations but mostly find cloth to be much easier, cheaper and better quality (use fewer wipes per change) than disposable.

I use cloth wipes......so much easier, as it just goes with the diaper. My spray for the bum before wiping is also witch hazel based, bought from a store. I've mixed my own too (baby oil, baby shampoo and water) but my baby got a pimple on his bum so I went back to the bought-spray stuff.

I use cloth wipes as well, right now we just wet each cloth with warm water as needed, but we have a wipe warmer and might switch over to it and make out own solution with baby wash, baby oil, and tea tree oil.

We bought a whole bunch of cloth wipes, but in the end I prefer the disposable wipes, so we mostly use those. I hated having to go through the extra step of wetting the cloth wipes.

Does anyone make their own? I have way too many yards of flannel from when Joanns had an awesome 60% off flannel sale. I think I am going to make a bunch this weekend. Which size is better, 4x8 or 8x8?

We use cloth at home, but only for pee. We use disposable for poo and when we leave the house. I just spray her with water then wipe.
