I'd like to make one for our new playroom! I wandered around lowe's today during nap time but I'm stumped as to how to make it magnetic. I looked for sheets of metal but they don't seem to exist or I just couldn't find them. to be fair, I'm beyond sleep deprived.
am I missing something obvious?! lol

You use magnetic paint! There are different kinds out there- that will get you the magnetic/chalk board.

We ordered a custom board from somewhere online. We paid a little more but we got
The exact size we wanted and then DH just nailed it into the wall. Easy peasy.

We used chalkboard paint in kitchen. Kids love to draw/play while I cook!

We bought magnetic boards at IKEA. Spray painted the chalkboard paint on it.
