I'm in the same boat as you! We were just on a cruise, so I had taken all these short sleeve shirts and shorts out of storage, but it's still too cold here to really wear them, so it's a mess!

We're caught between seasons as well. We're in the Pacific Northwest and it's been a very wet, cold spring so far. We finally had a few 80+ degree days last week, but then it dropped 20 degrees the very next day. Same thing happened this week. One day we're in sandals and shorts, the next we're back in sweaters and rain boots.

I have already changed over the casual clothing drawers, but the school clothes area is a mess right now.

Long stuff is long gone here!

I took out all the heavy winter stuff and kept just long sleeve tees and a few sweatpants to get us through. I've got summer stuff separated and in a box in her room. Dresses are sorted and heavy winter ones are either in the too small bin or put away with winter stuff for next year. I hate switching out. It feels like there are piles of clothes all over the place (too small winter, will fit next winter, fall/spring clothes, true summer clothes, next size up clothes etc.)

I switched mine a couple of weeks ago because I had time while the kids were in school, and knew I wouldn't have time once we hit May. We are in Northern NJ and I regret it big time! I've given up on saying "no" to strappy dresses and am just having my kids wear cardigans on top. Oh well, it's warm in their classrooms!! I'd left out a few long sleeve/long leg options for play clothes, but not much in terms of stuff to wear to school.

Same situation here (also New England). It is maddening. I've only put away snowsuits and serious winter coats. Everything else is out. I can't wait to finally put some of it away for awhile.

I put away the true winter stuff -- sweaters, heavier leggings, snow boots & pants, hats/gloves, and even the long-sleeve shirts that they prefer not to wear. BUT, it's all just in a spare closet...just in case!

All of the summer stuff is out, even though it hasn't been quite warm enough for most of their tanks or shorts yet. But we've been layering hoodies over spring/summer dresses, or leggings with tees, etc.

I'll put all the winter stuff away for good (minus a couple sweatshirts, a few pairs of long leggings, etc) after Memorial Day probably.

We're in that awkward stage in New England too. Plus they're both outgrowing their winter clothes. We bought DS some pants in the next size up because I figured they might still fit in the fall. But DD is growing out of her long sleeve shirts. She has a short torso and up until the last week or so had been fitting no problem in her 6m shirts (she's 8.5m) but I think they'll only fit for another week or two. Or until the next growth spurt. I can't really justify buying her more long sleeve stuff at this point though.

It looks like it's supposed to warm up after this weekend, so hopefully they can be in summer clothes soon.

I packed away the sweaters, heavy pants, and winter-looking outfits, but did leave a stack of long sleeve shirts/pants for those chilly days. It helped clear some of it out, probably end of May i'll really pull out the "summer" clothes of shorts and tank tops. Right now it's pretty much just t-shirts and leggings/capris/dresses.

We are in VA and it was really hit a few weeks ago so I swapped everything out... Aaaaaand now we are in a rainy/ chilly snap. The baby has been rocking a lot of pajamas and my big girl has been wearing summer dresses over leggings with sweaters.
