    Hi charting friends!

This was our first full month charting and it was so helpful...and ended up with a BFP

I'll still temp bc it'll make me sleep better at night, and thought I'd finally share my chart:

anyone else still temping after getting their BFP?

Hi ladies! Sorry I dropped off the face of the Earth. I took AF kinda hard and returned to work (summer school) this week. Currently at my parents house and plan to start charting again Monday.

On a side note, I paid $10 for a psychic reading from Jenny Renny. Let's see if it comes true!

    @sslm: how are you feeling?

    @jojogirl: fingers crossed!

@alison206: Glad you're back!!! I'm seriously considering Jenny Renny What did she say???

@jojogirl: this was my reading: Hi Alison,
Your reading reveals that your BFP news comes the end of August/beginning of September from a cycle that began in July. The pregnancy shows as girl/boy twins and their EDD/birth date is referenced the 7th of May 2013 and the 22nd of April 2013.

I figure for $10 it was worth the try. Maybe it'd give me something to look forward to each cycle.

@alison206: Awesome! You ready for twins?

  6. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@alison206: OMG that's this cycle!!!! And TWINS!?! I googled her and want to read on other boards how accurate her predictions are I want to do it but am scared she's going to say 'you'll get your bfp in 2014 after 3 m/cs' or something.

  7. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@jojogirl @grace I figure there is 20% shes right but I do like her predictions.

@JoJoGirl: Lurking and wanted to pop in! Jenny Renny predicted my sticky baby bfp, and she didn't tell me I'd have 2 early m/cs....When I got pg the third time, with this healthy baby, needless to say I was a nervous wreck, just basically convinced I would lose it any minute. I emailed her and asked her if she could predict miscarriages, and she said that she doesn't do that, because she would never want to be wrong, but if she sees an EDD, then she sees that as a good sign. So I tried to make myself feel better about this pregnancy by telling myself that she didn't see EDD for the first two which is why she never mentioned those BFPs, but she saw one for this one:)

Just for everyone else's reference - she told me back at the end of 2011 that I would get pg on my March cycle with a boy. I got pg on that cycle (after two early m/cs), and I got a "birth reading" which basically confirms gender and tells you a little about the birth. She then said I was actually having a girl, which was correct - we found out a couple of weeks later. However my birth story is off bc I'm getting induced early, and she said I'd go late. Whatevs - she was right about the important shiz;)

@jojogirl- i finally got my CH today after my temperature stayed up for 3 days... but my lines are dotted... maybe after tomorrow's temperature, you'll get them!!

    is jenny renny that accurate??

@JoJoGirl: I hate your chart too. What is up this month??

  13. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@jholler25: @mssally: I googled Jenny Renny and came across a bunch of threads on other TTC sites compiling lists of her predictions and their accuracy and sometimes, polls! It seems she's around 30% accurate (which is pretty amazing, considering!) - which for me is enough to not shell out the $10 or get my hopes up if she tells me I'm KU right now I hope she's right for you, @alison!!

@mssally: per my OPK I'm like 5dpo already right now, and still no CH. If I don't get them by Tuesday I'll discard a wonky temp and take some dotted ones.

@Smurfette: I dunno. I think I haven't woken up at the same time twice all month! Plus last night involved way too much alcohol + not enough sleep so I'm sure today's is extra wonky. Going to try and get back on my normal schedule tomorrow.

ETA: Basically if my temp is anywhere above 97.6 tomorrow, I'll get CH on CD19.

  14. Mrs. Schoolbus

    blogger / apricot / 349 posts

@jojogirl - i had a few wonky temps too from 1) sleeping with my hair wet.. 2)being too hot while i slept with no a/c or window open... 3) terrible sleep after fighting with hubs... lol... but the past few days i made sure to set an alarm and wakeup at the same time to just stick the thermometer in my mouth to take my temps... i hope you get your CH soon!!!

@mssally: @dharmainitiative: @sslm: OMG I you guys and the support!!! My heart isn't in it this cycle for some reason, maybe cause of the stupid missing BD days, I'm just already focusing on the next cycle. Not even sad about it, more like 'meh i don't feel like getting a BFP right now.. too much going on' Ah well, should make the tww easier i guess

@JoJoGirl: Awww, well that's what we're here for!! It's just such a stressful and anxious time. I hope this TWW goes quickly for you, and I hope it's your last one!!!!!!!

@JoJoGirl: I can totally understand that meh feeling. That's kinda how I feel this cycle. My big appointment with the gyn is in September so I just keep thinking about that instead of this cycle. I think it's a defense mechanism that we do, to kinda prepare for if/when AF shows. Anything exciting going on for you next cycle, is that why you are thinking about it??

  27. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@JoJoGirl: @dharmainitiative: I think your "meh" is a good sign. How many times do you here stories about getting pregnant when you least expect it?

  28. ChuckNorris

    apricot / 368 posts

@Grace: Hahah that's what my friend said. Unfortunately, it really probably won't happen for me this cycle. My husband is out of town when I will likely O. Haha. I think that's contributing to my Meh-ness of this cycle. How you doing?

  29. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@dharmainitiative: Nothing specific about next cycle other than my CBEFM which is arriving soon I just decided this cycle I'm out and don't care. haha. @Grace yeah how are you?

  30. Mrs. Schoolbus

    blogger / apricot / 349 posts

@jojogirl you're not out until DIABLO shows up!!! but i can relate with the meh feeling. honestly, ttc is about timing... and i sometimes hate that there's really no control. you can do all the right things, bd with your hubs all around the time of O and still no bfp. but i'm thankful for this supportive community!!

  31. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

    @mssally: I am too!!!!

  32. ChuckNorris

    apricot / 368 posts

@JoJoGirl: Well I hope you don't need to use your CBEFM and you'll get a BFP this month, but if you do, please let me know how you like it! How long have you been TTC again?

I'm thinking about getting one... I honestly don't even know how they work. Lol.

  33. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@dharmainitiative: will do! This is cycle 5, first cycle using it will be big numero 6.

  34. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@dharmainitiative: @JoJoGirl: I'm okay. I read something recently (either on Hellobee or somewhere else - I can't remember), about not wishing away this time. There is stuff to enjoy now that will be harder to do when kids come. So I'm trying to make an effort to enjoy the present, rather than waiting for a BFP. Made me feel better.

  35. ChuckNorris

    apricot / 368 posts

@JoJoGirl: Ah I see. We are about the same. I'm in cycle 6 right now. Is it something you pee on? How does it work? Lol.
@Grace: I think I saw that on WB too... Definitely helped me become more patient... I'm thinking about pushing back my gyn appointment!

  36. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@dharmainitiative: Do you feel that it's too early to talk to the doc? I'm planning to make an appointment in Sept, which will be the beginning of cycle 9. I'm hoping that I can at least get bloodwork done. I figure it's a simple thing so hopefully they'll do it before the 1 year.

  37. ChuckNorris

    apricot / 368 posts

@Grace: Yeah, I do. It will be almost 7 months of TTC by that time... I really just wanna know my treatment options for PCOS more than infertility treatments, but I still feel like even that is too early. I wanna try to lose 40 lbs from my highest ever of 163 and just wait a few more months after being at that weight and seeing if that helps at all, since PCOS is so weight related. So far, I'm 9.5 lbs down. I dunno, what do you think? Should I move it back? I could move it to November... My husband has vacation in August and October, so we will do every other day in those months. When we got pregnant last time, we were on vacation and able to DTD daily for like 2 weeks only skipping a day here and there. So maybe I will wait until after those opportunities.
I've heard that people with PCOS should see a doc after 6 mo, but I'm thinking I should wait until 9 mo, and wait to start treatment until 12 mo. What do you think?

  38. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@dharmainitiative: Oh! Haha i thought you meant technically you don't know how it works. It's sort of like an OPK but using FMU every day, and you put the stick in the machine and it analyzes the result for you. An OPK gives you say 12 hrs notice of O while the monitor gives you 5-6 days. It gives results in the way of "Low" "high" and "peak" fertility days (Peak - O day or the day before) so you can plan BD a little better.

@Grace: @dharmainitiative: I don't know if it's different with PCOS, but I saw my doctor last month about something unrelated and he said insurance will only cover bloodwork if I've been trying for a year (!?) or am over 35 and trying for 6 months. I had no idea! I feel like people get bloodwork done all the time, maybe that's just in my state?! Anyway I'll be 35 in December (BOO) so he said if I'm not pregnant by November we'll start getting ready for tests and whatnot. I was a little disappointed, I thought I'd be able to have bloodwork done before that.

  39. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@dharmainitiative: I think every person is different, so if you think you should wait, then wait. But, if you have questions or want a plan of attack, then why not see your doc? At least then, you know what your options are.

@JoJoGirl: What!?!?!? That would so suck! Make people go insane for a year over bloodwork. It's not like those are expensive tests. Since I'm in Canada, hopefully Medicare will come through for me.

@Grace: I know, right? I had never heard that before.
