@snickers: Hmm, yeah, I would say you haven't O'ed yet... Look at my first chart, at the very bottom of my FF page. It looks kinda similar to yours, but your temps have totally leveled off (which is good!). First charts are always hard to detect O, just cuz you're getting used to it and getting use to not changing around variables. GL!!!!

@April_Showers: We are test date buddies!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! What are you doing to pass the time?!

@dharmainitiative: When was your O on your first chart - the January one? Your current chart is looking good

Guys, I'm a little confused. Temps dropped to just above cover line yesterday and I was what I think is spotting (nothing heavy or red). Temps were back up today. I'm 15dpo. I tested for kicks and it was stark white. What the heck? I'll probably get AF full-on later today but nothing at all when I woke up this morning. My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3cf794/

@JoJoGirl: Yay! Thank you! I am wishing for your BFP to come soon, too

@mountainmama: Congrats! Happy and healthy 9 months!
@JoJoGirl: Weird, have you ever been this late before?
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@MountainMama: Thanks
@Smurfette: My LP has gotten longer and longer every month since coming off the pill, so it's hard to say. The longest so far was last month at 13 days (ie AF arrived at 14dpo). How long can an LP be?
ETA: I just did some reading and apparently it's not uncommon for them to be 18 days long. Ho hum.
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@JoJoGirl: Honestly I have no idea. Sorry! Wish that this process was easier.

@Smurfette: Thanks for weighing in anyway! Obviously I just need to sit tight!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@dharmainitiative: Oh, I think I will. I still have a bunch of them and I'm going to use them up. I think this is going to be a long cycle though. I'm due for a wonky one.
@snickers: How long is your cycle normally?
@JoJoGirl: You could have O'd a day or two later than FF said. It put O on pos OPK day and doesn't O happen a day or two after the pos OPK? I'm sorry your chart is screwing with you. I hate it when it does that.
@mountainmama: Whoohoo! I'm glad that pretty chart didn't go to waste! Congrats!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@mountainmama: Congratulations!!!
@JoJoGirl: Gah, your chart is so annoying!!! Why can't it just be straightforward so you'd know what's going on??? I hope either AF shows her stinking face soon so you can move on, or you get a surprise BFP!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Grace: Possibly! But with my temps it seems like FF is probably right (it spiked the day after the OPK).
@Adira: Seriously. I started spotting again though so I think it's probably game over after all (which is weird with the higher temp..). I just dont know when to start using the monitor... is today CD1? CD2? CD35? I have to use it before CD5 so I'm hoping it becomes obvious what's going on one way or the other!
GOLD / wonderful coconut / 33402 posts
@JoJoGirl: If you are just spotting then I wouldn't start today. Wait till AF shows up in all her damn glory
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@JoJoGirl: I agree with @Smurfette - wait until you do more than spot, then you're CD 1 and can start using it.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Smurfette: @Adira: Make sense. Come ON AF! You are welcome in my home! Cookie?

Hi ladies! Just checking in because I actually have some data on my chart, haha. I am sort of blasé about this cycle for a couple totally selfish reasons - I'm going on a tropical vacation in a couple weeks and I'd really like to be able to drink lots of margaritas, and if we were by some chance successful this month my EDD would be right near my birthday/mothers day (so dumb to care about that).
Anyway, I just got a positive OPK, and some EWCM, so it's looking like I'll O soon.
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/392d2e
and congrats @mountainmama! Your chart looked so good! @JoJoGirl totally called it

@snickers, @jennkamm, @april_showers: Nice to meet you!
@mountainmama: OMG! YAY! Congrats, however, you chart made it pretty clear you would
@jojogirl: I think the most frustrating thing about this whole thing is how wonky our cycles can be from month to month. I know that's what makes me crazy.
@rachel: I'd want to drink on a tropical vaca too! However, it's those types of plans that typically get you a BFP.
@grace: I always felt that when my temps leveled out that O would be coming any day.
This morning I turned off my alarm and never temped. So bummed! I did temp at 8:00am when I worke up (instead of 6:00am). I entered it even though it was later and I wasn't as a sleep as I would have been at 6:00am.
ETA: If I play with my temps on FF I get crosshairs for yesterday (which I would gladly take) however, I got a neg OPK yesterday.
ETA AGAIN: This is why I don't like OPKs. I just used one and the lines are so fait its impossible to read.
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@alison206: I usually get crosshairs on a day with a negative opk - I think that once you actually O, the LH is out of your system, which would explain the negative. Did you test on any days before yesterday? As for the later temp, I think there are calculators where you can put in the temp, the time you usually temp, and the time you temped (the later time) to adjust it? But your chart looks so pretty, so I'd leave it alone
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@rachel: I started on Monday, and Monday was the one that looked closest to positive so what your saying does make sense. I'll just stick with temping. I found an adjuster and I do not like what it said so I am going to keep what I have

@mountainmama - super congrats! Prayers for a sticky baby!!
Charting peeps- I need some major help. I know this is my first chart, so who knows what's been going in this past year, but I really thought this was our month and now my temps can't seem to make up their mind! I've had two BFN so far and have decided to not test again until Ff told me I should, but, this two week wait has never felt so long!! Le sigh...
cherry / 245 posts
@dharmainitiative: Grr...this waiting is brutal, the slowest two weeks EVER! I try to stay as busy as possible outside of my house where my tests are. How about you?
@mountainmama: Congrats on your BFP! Thats so exciting!

@JennKam: Do you have a link to your chart? Maybe we can give some insight.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
Hah people keep adding me as a friend on FF and I don't know who they are! Please add yourself a nickname on there so I can keep you straight and don't out your chart like I did with @mountainmama!!

@JennKam: Oh you're my new friend! Your chart looks great! Not much to decipher at this point though, just hang in there and wait a day or two more to test.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@JennKam: Your chart looks fine! Those up and down parts are normal. It the general trend you are looking for. If you temp at later or earlier times, that will make your chart look more jagged too.
@JoJoGirl: Wouldn't it be nice if we could add a nickname for people on the page, just so that we know who they are? Luckily for me, I've only got to keep Dharma and Sslm straight.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Grace: Dharma is easier - if you look at her link up top, it says "totesmagotes", everyone else is a bunch of letters and numbers.
apricot / 368 posts
@snickers: My first chart never showed an O, I think because of my erratic temps.
@mountainmama: Congrats!
@JoJoGirl: Girl, I have no clue why your temp would go back up today. I suspect AF is coming though =( I spot for a full 48 hours before AF shows FWIW, I hope you don't do that too!!!
@Rachel: Yay for O soon!!!
@April_Showers: Well, weekend getaways are seriously KEY! I got my crosshairs on vaca this last weekend and bam! I'm already 6dpo. Keeping busy, busy, busy.
@JennKam: Agreed with the PP's, I think once you start temping at a more consistent time, it will be better and your temps won't be so "rocky mountains." But I also agree, that it a normal looking chart =) Much better than my first one!
apricot / 368 posts
@Grace: So I show up as a bunch of numbers in the friend's list, but totesmahgoats shows up as my URL? How do I change the nickname?

PS, you bees are so great, *sob* my O poll is up to 19 votes, and they are 100% CD16!!! I'm so happy with this chart. If nothing else, I'm just happy it looks normal, even if it's not a BFP.

@dharmainitiative: I hear you there, though no get always for us right now. We are planning a trip to Houston for labor day. To change your nickname on FF if you click on friends list, there is a option on the left hand side to change your nickname.

Temp dipped a little today and almost a stark white OPK which is the faintest since Monday. Only tomorrow will tell.
