Both @Aprilshowers and @Spaniellove have amazing charts! I am so jealous! Mine is stupid...I hate my body right now.

@ambular1025: WHAT? It's not stupid, it looks great!

  4. marionberry

@jojogirl: No, it keeps coming back to that stupid 97.9 and so it feels like my usual plateau. I don't think this is my cycle. Top it off with the fact that DH and I got in a huge stupid fight last night and so I didn't sleep well, I'm gonna need a good coffee this morning lol.

@ambular1025: I think your chart looks great too. My chart did this exact same thing last month and BFN, so I don't have high hopes either.

@ambular1025: Someone in a FF group I'm part of had a BFP last cycle, even though her chart looked exactly like every other chart!

I'm starting to think you can get a BFP no matter what your chart looks like and we are like reading tea leaves here.

Thanks guys! i get really excited for + OPKs hehe

    @Spaniellove: temp back up!! yay!
@April_Showers: your chart looks great - are you waiting for AF to test?
@Ambular1025: i'm dying this morning too DH got me sick! we are both sick and it's O time but still BDing - will this hurt our chances?? just a touch of the cold that's going around.

  8. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@chibee: I think I am going to test this weekend, and if BFN just wait for AF to show up which should be Tuesday or Wednesday.

  9. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@spaniellove: Totally agree about the tea leaves.

  10. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: Thanks for the optimism! I think you're right too, about reading tea leaves, however, Jenny Renny could still be right about you. Wouldn't that be great?!
@jojogirl: Thanks for keeping my spirits up. The longer TTC takes, the more I just get in a bad mood.
@chibee: My DH has been sick for 2 weeks (I think prenatals have saved me from getting it), and I don't think it should affect you too much, unless your DH is taking gobs of medicine. If you're taking cold medicine it's actually good for you though..helps build Mucus! Books recommend Mucinex or Nyquil.

@ambular1025: I know it's the worst. Starting cycle 6 was so hard for me. It really feels like a milestone for no good reason.

Hi ladies, am just back from a week's holiday (lovely - celebrated my 30th Birthday with a week away with DH) but I am now also quite confused... see what you think:
FF has 'revoked' my crosshairs; presumably because my temps didn't stay above the coverline it calculated. I got to around 7DPO then the crosshairs disappeared and now I have no idea where in my cycle I am!
I continued to temp while we were away but didn't pay as much attention to CM (didn't really notice any) - though I think I saw some EWCM today... now on CD39 of first cycle off BCP; here's my chart again: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3ec68a - any thoughts girls?

PS - not caught up yet with everyone elses news from the past week but about to go back and play catch up with my reading! x

@evenstar982: I saw your chart this morning. Do you usually have really long cycles? It appears that you haven't ovulated yet, although I do notice what looks similar to a second phase in days 28-34. You should get a sizeable uptick at ovulation and if you're thinking you might have EWCM today, maybe you're about to.

Huge temp jump for me today! Before FF can give me my first crosshairs ever, can anyone predict based on my current chart info what CD they might give me my crosshair?? Assuming my temp will stay high tomorrow?? Thanks!

    cantaloupe / 6397 posts

@chibee: based on your opk I would say it'll give you crosshairs for yesterday! You can try plugging in a couple fake temps for tomorrow and the next day to see though

  17. sslm

    cantaloupe / 6397 posts

@evenstar982: hopefully with the ewcm today O is coming soon! I had freakishly long cycles too, so I know it's frustrating!!

  18. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@chibee: Based on your temps I'd want to say Thursday, but based on your OPKs Friday? You could do what @SSLM suggested!

  19. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@SSLM @Spaniellove if i plug in a fake high temp for tomorrow it gives me crosshairs on Thurs - but what does my +OPK on Friday mean if I did in fact o on Thurs? Also, I *think* I had a + OPK this morning too, I couldn't confirm for sure bc I left my digital at work on Friday argh!!!

  20. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@chibee: Did you put in high temps for two more days? The + OPK just measures your surge...and you O within 12-36 hours of your first +OPK. Some people have very short surges and some have longer surges!

  21. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Spaniellove: when i put in for 2 more days like you said, it moves my crosshair to Friday. Can you O DURING a surge?

  22. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

    @chibee: Absolutely!

@chibee: Is it weird that your Chihuahua is talking to my Cockachon?

  24. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@evenstar982: I'm not surprised that FF took back the crosshairs. To me it looked like you hadn't ovulated. The post O temps were just so low. I think the reason the crosshairs are gone is because you put in that you got EWCM. You shouldn't have that after O. I'm guessing one of two things. 1)you are about to ovulate or 2) you are mistaking the EWCM for the watery stuff that can come out right before AF. Either way, I'm hoping you see something happen within the next couple of days.

  25. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Spaniellove: not at all. is it weird that we don't think it's weird? lol

  26. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: looking at your chart I would say yesterday, so I'll be curious to see what FF says. So excited for you...your first crosshairs are kind of a rite of passage around here lol.

  27. evenstar982

    apricot / 284 posts

@ambular1025: this is my first cycle post-BCP, and its been so long that I can't really remember how long my actual cycles were - but they were probably a little longer than the norm (but not this much!). Still holding out for that temp jump; but starting to wonder if this first time round might be anovulatory

@Grace: FF took back the crosshairs on the day before I entered the EWCM I think; but still, I agree - the "post-O" temps didn't look high enough to me either! Back to paying more attention to CM as well as temps for a few more days now I think.

  28. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@evenstar982: Oh? I guess there must be a certain number of days of borderline temps that it will take. Kinda dirty to get someone's hopes up like that. The good news is that you are having patches of fertile mucus. That means your body is working on it.

@chibee: Where did your crazy-high temps go?

  29. evenstar982

    apricot / 284 posts

@Grace: lol yep, its a bit frustrating FF can change its mind! But hopefully you're right and I'm working on it even if I don't know it!

  30. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Evenstar982: Your cycle after BCP can be a total mess. I know mine was, so give it some time, but it will regulate.
@Chibee: You must have a really big dip right after ovulation. With your big variations pre-o it doesn't really surprise me. It should skyrocket tomorrow.

    Hi Ladies

I am a long time lurker on this thread and on Cycle 9 of TTC.

Anyone have any thoughts as to why FF has put my coverline at 36.54? Typically it is never higher than 36.44. My post O temps are really low (along the coverline) if it stays at 36.54 but looks a bit better at my normal coverline.

After 9 cycles I feel like I should have a better understanding of what is going on but this cycle is confusing me. Being at this for 9 cycles I am starting to get discouraged..

  32. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@mrswin: FF usually sets coverline about 1 tenth higher than your previously highest temps (which appear to be days 10 and 1). Your post-o temps seem unusually low this cycle. I'm on cycle 6 and my cycle totally changed this time too, which leaves you with no real comparison. It can be frustrating, but we're all here to vent to. Best of luck!

Big BFN for me this morning. Onto cycle 7 I go....ugh.

  34. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@mrswin: Your pre O temps are higher than before. That's why your coverline is higher. It happened for me this month too. I'm wondering if it's because the weather has changed and I'm under the duvet more.

  35. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Ambular1025: ugh sorry about your BFN! My chart confuses me, my temperature never seems to do what i want it to do! I finally did get that crosshair though! hope FF doesn't take it away with a stupid temperature reading tomorrow though.

    @ambular1025: Boooo. Sorry, sweetie.

  37. marionberry

@Grace: Thanks hun. We said we'd go 6 cycles before the Dr. so I guess I'll get my appointment set up (since I hear the OB/GYN is a 3 week wait) and DH will get his SA. Hopefully we'll get some answers and be able to get preggo sooner rather than later. I'd rather know what's wrong and start fixing it than keep getting BFN's.

  38. spaniellove

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@ambular1025: I'm so sorry...you know it is still totally possible after 11 dpo but I understand wanting to just move on. I really hope you can get some answers soon!

  39. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@spaniellove: Thanks! I know it's possible still (esp since I ignored the monitor settings and moved my chart back 2 dpo so I could be only 9dpo) but most people who are preggo get BFP's early, so I've pretty much assumed I'm not pregnant. I'm ready to move on to fixing problems, as I know you can relate to.

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@ambular1025: Good idea. In hindsight, I wish we had gone earlier. I feel so much less stressed since we made the decision to get checked out.
