@Grace: Congrats for being one step further on your quest to have a baby. Sorry it was somewhat anticlimactic though. You'll have to let us know how the labs come back.
@Spaniellove: I might try to pull out the monitor readings and see what it says. Sleeping all day could be a good sign right?! We're kinda POAS buddies this month, with you being 4 DPO and me being either 3 or 5 DPO depending on FF's mood. Hopefully it's good news for both of us.

How is everyone doing?? The bleeding never picked up for me. I'm anticipating shark week to start in the next day or so. This chart and last chart are almost identical! Lol.

Right now I am watching the new SNL...holy balls. Anyone seen it yet?!? I am seriously laughing harder than I ever have at a show before in my LIFE!!! Seth MacFarlane is my favorite person EVER

@ambular1025: Thanks.
@ChuckNorris: Are you on crack? ;). This chart looks way better than your last one! The temps are going up!
Have you gotten to the "Lids" skit yet? Too funny.
Ladies, I think I've got the plague. Going to bed....

@Chucknorris: I agree with @Grace, this chart looks good! Maybe it's implantation spotting!
apricot / 368 posts
@Grace: Oh no! I'm so sad to hear you are sick.
OMG the Lids skit was hysterical!!!!! But I was so confused, who was the Asian guy that the crowd cheered for? Did I miss a viral video or something? Seth Meyers weekend update was amazing too... Jeez I seriously haven't laughed that hard in I don't know how long. Ever? Haha
Hahah, you're right, I'm very glad that my temp is going up. I just meant when they are overlaid they look similar.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@ChuckNorris: I choose to believe that the new chart is waaaaaaay better.
Utube Psy Gangum Style and watch the one with the most views. It's something like 100 million.

@ambular1025: Squuueeee, that would be amazing!! I dunno though, it got pretty heavy there, so I'm not holding my breath! I'm just happy that my temp is somewhat high right now =) Sorry to hear your O date got moved. How are you liking the CBEFM?? Second month, yeah?
apricot / 368 posts
@Grace: Then I choose to agree with you Okay, I will be optimistic. I can do that =) Haha.
OMG you saved me so much Googling right now by telling me that, hahahaha!!!! How did that video become so popular? I'm not sure if you're in the US but HOLY BALLS Seth MacFarlane's impression of Ryan Lochte was hysterical... I was dying. I've watched it like 6 times.
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@ChuckNorris: haha I give it six swims. Can't believe you've been able to avoid Psy madness - he's been everywhere!

@Rachel: I already knew I was in love with Seth MacFarlane but seriously, how in love with him are you after that skit?! He's seriously so talented! Lmao. "I was like watching that show and there were all of those little shows in it." "Uh, those are commercials." "oh right, that would make sense, cus I was in all of them." hahaha
apricot / 368 posts
@Rachel: haha I have never heard of this psy person. I kind of live under a rock besides the few shows I watch here and there. The only shows I watch regularly are Colbert report and Daily show, which is why I actually got the political jokes for once hahaha

@Chucknorris: I really like the CBEFM (2nd cycle using it) but this month it threw me a slight curveball. The first month I got the ideal results, 2 high days, then 2 peak, then 1 high. But this month I got a high the very first time I peed on a stick (6cd) and those highs continued for 5 days before a peak. We wasted a lot of good sperm on those days, lol. I think what may be true, since I got off BCP about 5 months ago, is that this month's estrogen level (which when high gives you a high on the monitor) was much higher than last month, confusing the monitor. I'll be really curious to see what happens next month. All in all I really like it though because it makes me feel a bit more in control of my body. I saw a dip in your temp today :(. Did el diablo come to visit?
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ChuckNorris: Those two charts are not similar at all!
@ambular1025: I'm still convinced FF shouldn't have moved your CH. A coverline shouldn't be all the way up there, and it's just clear looking at your temps that you O'ed on CD12. This morning FF tried to move my CH again and I realized that it was because I removed a temp and it was going only by the size of the temp jumps which was inaccurate. Are you able to change the Detector method to Fertility Awareness instead of Advanced?
ETA: @ChuckNorris: Sorry to see that temp dip...
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Spaniellove: Thanks for agreeing with me! I think my coverline should be at 97.3 on CD 12 too! I went through galleries of charts on FF yesterday and it appears that's where it should be based on those. I just switched to FAM and it moved my crosshairs back. Great suggestion!
apricot / 368 posts
@ambular1025: Why do you think your estrogen was so much higher? That is so cool that it keeps track of all your cycles and compares them. As for me, no diablo yet. I'm sure sometime today with that nosedive today lol.
@spaniellove: You don't think so??? Really? Like all the temps are within a teeny bit of degrees from each other before and after "O"
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Chucknorris: I'm blaming it on how long it's taking my hormone levels get back to normal after coming off BCP. It took 5 cycles just to get to a normal period length (from before I was on it) and this is cycle 6, so I'm just guessing. I really have no clue though. It was just odd.
apricot / 368 posts
@ambular1025: Huh! Well I hope things are more even next cycle =) Well actually, I hope you don't have to worry about it and this is your month! lol
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Chucknorris: Thanks! At cycle 6 I don't really have my hopes up anymore, but I would be more than ecstatic to have this be a BFP month.

@alison206: aw thanks! I still keep checking your empty chart every morning

@Rachel: Haha! I accidentily check @alison206's chart too!
@alison206: Thanks lady! So are you finding this month to be more relaxing?
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Alison206: We miss you! Can't wait for you to come back! Like @Rachel and @Grace, I keep checking your chart too! I'm curious, like @Grace, to see how you're doing with not charting and temping. I'm not sure I could actually do it. It would be like going off of Heroin cold turkey haha.

@ambular1025: Hold out hope my friend!!!
Still stalking all of your charts too! I miss you guys!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@alison206: Yes, I keep checking it just in case! But I understand how having the time off can be a relief too.

@jojogirl: Thanks girlie! We miss you too! Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you should stay away.

@ambular1025, @grace, @rachel, @spaniellove: I really do feel less stressed. I know I can't handle more than one month off because the idea of missing my chance does get to me sometimes!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@ambular1025: Oh good, I don't plan to I've actually been trying to stay off HB in general the last few days, I'm having a ridiculous amount of anxiety about something going wrong so have been trying to give myself space from the whole idea of it in general (if that makes sense). Once i"m feeling better though I'll definitely be rejoining you guys here
but am stalking your charts!!!
Speaking of which, yours looks GREAT!!! Climb temps, climb! I wonder if I play with mine or take out the MON data if it will move back my O date. I'm still super suspect of it given how early the test was positive and I'd love a few extra days at this point
@alison206: Glad to hear you are less stressed!!!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@alison206: I'm super glad to hear that you are feeling better.
@JoJoGirl: Yes - you don't have to stay away! Cheerleaders are always welcome! And what is this about you worried about a BFP early? I think that's a fantastic sign! Just think of how nice and snug Baby is!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Grace: It's not so much I'm worried about the early BFP, more that I wasn't even expecting AF until TODAY (long LP) so the whole thing feels really premature, you know? Just nervous in general. But trying to think that yes, dark line that early = snug zygote. I went to acupuncture yesterday to help with both stickiness and my anxiety (ooh just remembered my ear sticky is still in even after a workout AND a shower this morning... pressing for calm... pressing...) so just have to take one day at a time here.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@april_showers: Do you think you're going to test soon? Your chart looks great!
I'm thinking of not charting for the rest of this cycle...I got the same dip at 6dpo that I always get, and I'm really just waiting another week for AF now. Since I have a lot of trouble sleeping towards the end of the 2WW I'd rather just not have to worry about my temps if I know they don't mean anything.
cherry / 245 posts
@spaniellove: maybe this weekend, though I am tempted just to wait out AF. I am just not feeling it this month. Plus this is kinda what my chart looked like last month too.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@April Showers: I think your chart looks great this time, and not necessarily like last time. If your temps stay high like that, you may have a sticky egg!
@Jojogirl: I understand being worried, but I think you have nothing to worry about. I'm sure your zygote is sticky, especially with that early BFP. I don't necessarily disagree with FF on your O date, but check with switching to fertility awareness method like I did, and see if it changes things. I'd be curious to hear the results. And my chart dipped down today, but I just keep hoping it's implantation or something. I've analyzed (big surprise cause that's what I do for a living, analyze data) so many charts on FF and know that I need an implantation dip around dpo 8-11 and then a higher temp afterward to have the possibility of a BFP, so I'm crossing my fingers. But since today is only 7dpo it may be too early for a dip. Who knows...lol.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@JoJoGirl: I know that changing your O date doesn't mean anything about your sticky bean, but you just want to know! So I just want to ask - were those open circles on your chart because of irregular waking times? And did you use a temp corrector or were you just marking them as is? Because I see how it gave you that date based on what you put. And moving your CH back closer to your + OPK (I think it's at least a day further than it should be) might mean doing something about the open circles, if those temps are inaccurate. BUT it may not be worth the effort at this point, you know!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@ambular1025: Thanks girl. And FYI, I had nothing of the sort that looked ANYTHING like an implantation dip (even WITH a crap-ton of spotting that lasted 3 days!), so don't hang your hat on that (I analyze data too or used to). I tried once to switch to FAM but I think that's a VIP thing and I was too cheap to invest. Hehe.
@spaniellove: The open circles are because I was on vacation for those 5 days so was waking *just* outside my normal window. I normally temp at 5:15am-5:45am and that week was temping usually around 6am, sometimes 6:30am - I was letting the sun wake me up So the time was close ENOUGH to normal that the temps sort of made "sense" with the rest of my chart, but I didn't bother with the temp corrector. Maybe I should put them in just to get closed circles and see what happens? FYI I did take out all the monitor data and it left the CH where they were. Even if I put a + OPK on that blank day (CD19 or whatever), it still left them. I think the open circles are really throwing it off.
All things being equal I don't know if an extra day or two will ease my mind The strangest thing is I keep panicking and thinking I should be peeing on something or taking my temp or BDing or something proactive and I find it ironic that this is the worst wait of all! It's like, the 8ww. Haha.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@JoJoGirl: Considering that your temp generally goes up about .1 degree every half hour, the difference between 5:15 and 6:30 would be about .25 degrees. It could make a difference on CD19, possibly. But no, it probably won't make you feel better! I wouldn't suggest peeing on things at this point - it'll just feed anxiety! They say your temps start doing crazy things after a BFP so no point in that either! I don't think there's anything "proactive" you can do other than to enjoy this time.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@spaniellove: Doing my best to enjoy it, thanks girl. I know you're not hopeful due to the MFI but your chart looks good.
I have some time to mess around online later tonight, maybe i'll recalculate those temps just for fun.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
Okay I did the whole temp corrector thing, took out the monitor data, added + OPK to CD17 and it STILL said I Od that Tuesday!! Bah. Damn it. Oh well.
