@jojogirl: Great idea! When we do get BFP's let's set up a thread just for us cycle 7 girls (no matter when we get a BFP) so that we can always stay in contact.
@spaniellove: Good to know about the donation timing, lol. I'll make sure we follow protocol.

@JoJoGirl: Why would we kick you out? You're a great ball of optimism and energy and POAS-pushing!

@Grace: Hahahahah. You were the first recipient of my peer pressure, I'm pretty sure I did it on the first page of this thread

Something odd has happened in the land of Oz. There used to be a whole bunch of us in the TWW together and now it's just me and @chibee! Now I understand why @JoJoGirl was always lamenting that she was on an opposite cycle.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@chibee: Nope. I'm tired of negative tests, so I'm waiting for AF to be late. Also, I got sick and didn't time things very well.
How about you?
pear / 1974 posts
@Grace: I'm also trying to hold off until AF is late, I'm too nervous to test, it's only my second cycle TTC but the first cycle BFN was kind of surprisingly devastating.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@chibee, @grace: Best of luck this cycle! I would love for you guys to get BFP's!
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@Grace: @chibee: ack sorry for not being a supportive charting friend! I'm in sad sad AF land thinking about how I'm one of the unlucky 20% who can't get knocked up in 6 months. Your charts both look good! Chibee, it's nice to see your temp staying awaaay from the coverline still!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@Rachel: Nonsense! You can't help that your cycle moved. I was only saying that I understand what Jojo was saying. I know what you mean about being in sad sad land. Because it really shouldn't be this hard!
@ambular1025: Thanks and back at'cha!
pear / 1974 posts
@Ambular1025: Thank you! I'm keeping my expectations way, way low. I really hope next month is the one for you!
@Rachel: my temp has been pretty consistent lately! Hope it stays that high for a long, long time...
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Rachel: There are a lot of us who've hit that mark. It sucks, but I'm determined that once I see docs and whatnot at least I can know why I can't get pregnant and do something about it. That has me a little empowered. Other than the cost I really don't care if I have to go as far as IVF.
@Grace: I used to be in cycle with you guys but my cycle is short and so I am sometimes with one group and sometimes with the other. It's somewhat annoying but I like that I don't have to wait as long as others.
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@ambular1025: I agree completely with everything you said. I'm not afraid of having to go all the way through IVF, and I'm grateful to have you girls at nearly the same point in the TTC journey with me
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Rachel: I totally understand. Honestly I've been there since Cycle 4. Going to IVF brings mixed feelings - on one hand it's like bringing out the big guns, but it's also scary to know that we get one, maybe two tries and after that there is NOTHING ELSE. It's over. For personal reasons we aren't considering adoption (not that we could afford it after blowing so much money on IVF), so if IVF doesn't work there won't be any kids.
Since AF is here and I'm on to cycle 7, I think I'm done charting. But I will definitely stick around and obsess over you guys' charts!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Spaniellove: I've considered not charting too but I just don't think I can yet. Perhaps after this cycle. I just can't stand not being in as much control or knowledge. You better stay in touch on this post even if you don't chart!

This charter's thread is like the best thread ever. I've learned so much for all of you guys. Update on me: I had my betas done-- the first one- hcg 649, progesterone 29.5--- the second one- they didn't give me the hcg numbers but said it had doubled.. so the ob said my numbers looked good. they had me do all that before scheduling an appt since i had two miscarriages last year. the ob also put me on 100mg of progesterone cream until i'm 11 weeks as a precaution. anyway, it's probably all the hormones but i totally had a melt down while trying to schedule my first ob appt because it will require me taking a day off from work (teaching) and you teachers know what a pain in the butt it is to write lesson plans. my hospital also require new moms to go to a new mom orientation but i've been to two already and i was like do i have to go again-- it's to schedule genetic testing. the nurse told me to tell the nurses there that i just want to get my paperwork and not have to sit through the whole meeting again.
Ladies, don't lose hope! ***sprinkling baby dust on all of you****

Hi Ladies! Just checking in and saying I miss you!!! Update on me, I'm confident I either O'd yesterday or will in the next 48 hours. I am BLOATED, gassy, tired, and crampy. Plus my skin broke out again. We are DTD every other day just incase.
@ambular1025: from my experience, don't stop charting. I felt great until yesterday when I was super bloated and I checked my CD day. Knowing it was about that time has sent me down a spiral. I'm back to "this isn't fair, it shouldn't be this hard" and boardline tears. My goal with not charting was to have no idea how many DPO I was and not worry about the TWW but now that I know I'm back to being upset. Worse part, I don't have temps to stalk!

@mssally: Hi! So happy to hear that everything is going well with you! I'm not a teacher but my mom is, so I feel you on the having to take a day off thing - frustrating!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Alison206: That's why I'm not sure I could stop. I would end up going to FF and being mad I had nothing to measure against. I'm learning I'm a control freak haha. We miss you here and can't wait for you to be back actively. It's easier to go through all this drama together. Hopefully you O'd and you're on your way to a BFP!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ambular1025: I wouldn't recommend giving up charting yet! Having the chart makes timing so much easier and really helps figure a lot of things out.
@mssally: So glad to hear your betas were good! I understand what a pain it is to miss a day of teaching, and no matter how hard you plan it's never like you were there.
@alison206: Hang in there! Hopefully you won't ever have to go back to charting!
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@alison206: Hi!!! I miss you too! I'm sorry your time off charting is backfiring a bit. Hugs.

Hey! I saw earlier that a lot of ladies are in cycle 7, yeah? Who all is in cycle 7?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@ChuckNorris: I am, and I think @spaniellove: and @ambular1025: are as well. There might be more that I'm missing
apricot / 368 posts
@Rachel: Geez, that is a lot of ladies, how ironic!! Seven is my lucky number (I'm cycle 7 too!) but I'm not feeling optimistic because of all the news last month. Rachel, when do you start temping again? I FINALLY picked up the thermometer today.
How is everyone else feeling?? Anyone feeling optimistic?
We are all super close in cycle days too. That's crazy!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@chucknorris: I would love for cycle 7 to be a lucky one but I'm just not feeling very confident at this point. Looking forward to DH's SA next week for some answers.
apricot / 368 posts
@ambular1025: Eeep! Good luck! I think we find out the results of hubs's SA tomorrow.. I hope both of ours husband's SA's show good, strong numbers =)
pomelo / 5041 posts
@chucknorris: Me too! Although if they're good, I'm the problem lol.
apricot / 368 posts
@ambular1025: I feel...the SAME way. *sigh* Of course I hope that they are good, but if not, at least, I dunno...some of the, blame? (is that the right word?) could be shared, as crazy as that sounds.

Hi everyone, I thought it might be fun to do a bit of a 'role call' to see who's currently active on this thread since I know there are a few ladies who've been here since the thread started, and then some like me who've only recently joined... anyone want to play along? If anyone can think of fun questions to add, please feel free!
How long have you been charting? Just over a month (stopped BCP in August and started charting late Aug).
TTC Cycle: We're not actively TTC just getting back into regular cycles, but also not preventing - so who knows!
Where are you from? I'm British, DH is from Texas, we live in the UK.
Any kids already? Nope, just a couple of fur-babies (2 cats) and a very elderly and geriatric bunny rabbit!
Burning charting question: does anyone know how having a cold/flu can effect BBT? Mine spiked a bit this morning but I'm only on CD 7 so putting it down to illness rather than early O!
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@evenstar982: Good idea!
How long have you been charting? Since last November (but I took a few months off in between)
TTC Cycle: 7 (since April)
Where are you from? MA
Any kids already? Just my spoiled rotten pug
Burning charting question: how long will my thermometer battery last? And when will I know if it's dying?

How long have you been charting? This is my 4th cycle charting.
TTC Cycle: 7 (since April)
Where are you from? Oregon
Any kids already? Nope, but DH has 2 from prior marriages and 1 is actually older than me and had a kid last year. So I'm technically a grandma at 26 lol. This is what happens when you marry someone much older than you. HAHA
Burning charting question: Why do my charts keep changing overall styles or look?

How long have you been charting? Since coming off BCP in May.
TTC Cycle: Cycle 3
Where are you from? Texas
Any kids already? Just our fur-baby. We think she is a Corgi/Long Haired Chihuahua Mix.
Burning charting question: @Rachel: I agree with this one! I always worry that I am going to wake up one morning and it is going to be dead.

@AprilShowers & @Rachel: I've heard that if you start getting the same temp over and over again your thermometer is dying, and since we've been charting awhile we should know when it's dying by comparing to old charts.
nectarine / 2705 posts
@April_Showers and @Rachel: I'm not actively charting anymore, but I have an answer for you on the thermometer. My thermometer didn't seem to be working right, and it would take me two tries to get a reading. Then, shortly after those few days that took me a few tries, the battery sign popped up one morning. I only had mine for 6 months before I had to replace the battery. I thought that was a short time.

How long have you been charting? Since October 2011
TTC Cycle: Cycle 10 as of 10 minutes ago (AF two days early! What gives?)
Where are you from? Canada
Any kids already? Nada.
Burning charting question: Does weather changes affect BBT? This month was wacko. Duvet on one night, windows open the next...

@Grace: I'm sorry! I saw your temp drop today and figured it was the same bad news I get when that happens. Feeling for you! Two days early is not cool.
