@evenstar982: Man, I had no idea what you were talking about! Lol! Had to look back and now I'm caught up. My guess is that the TTC over-achievers are balanced by the exhausted parents. But either way, you are correct. There's no normal, so long as everyone's happy.

@Grace: Lmao, that's not weird at all! I have trouble keeping up with everyone too. All of the HB people AND WB people?! It's tough work!! lol. This cycle was not medicated. I'm sooo hoping that next cycle is, but with this last conversation I had with my RE's nurse it looks like it won't be. Arrrrrgggghhhh.

@ChuckNorris: Sigh. I wonder why the hold up? And it's not just you - there seems to be a genuine reluctance to move forward with fertility treatments.

@Grace: I think it's just because he needs to order a bunch of stuff (labs and ultrasounds) to do a cycle of Clomid and he doesn't come back to the clinic to do that for another week and a half, and I will be CD1 any day now... Sigh is right! Oh well. Whatevs. Trying to look at the positives: If we don't do Clomid this cycle, then I will probably still be able to be in my best friend's wedding next year. If I had done it this next cycle, my due date would be like July 27th and her wedding is July 20th. I'd much rather be 8 months pregnant at her wedding than almost delivering! lol. What's the latest with you? I'm about to go back and read and will comment back if you beat me to it =)

@ambular1025: Just wanted to mention that I think some people use Google Docs for a group spreadsheet! And...your chart looks totally different/awesome this cycle (trying not to jinx anything).

@ambular1025: that is an amazing looking chart!! fingers crossed!!

@grace @rachel: I'm all for a spreadsheet... minus the first three or four of us that were on here I can't keep anyone straight!

    honeydew / 7916 posts

@alison206: Yay peak! Yeah, it took me a long time to get even a few of us sorted out in my mind, and it just keeps getting harder. Which is why I find it impossible to keep up with busier threads!

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

    @Cherrybee: @Rachel: @alison206: Lol! You guys are awesome. I don't actually have a spreadsheet.

    @alison206: Yeah-hooooooooo!!

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@alison206: I just woke up to see that great "P". You got a "P"! Congrats! Now BD like crazy today and tomorrow.

Sorry I changed my name. @Cherrybee is right: I need to make sure I don't use the same username for everything and show personal pictures as my avatar. Sorry guys! I hope it rubs into your mind quickly.

Oh and my temp went down today. Only .1 but I think it starts that dreaded plateau I always get. Blah!

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@alison206: You get one name change I think, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've been thinking about changing mine too...

Morning Ladies! I picked up a OPK from Target yesterday (up and up) and when I tried it late yesterday afternoon, it was positive! This morning my temp spiked a bit too. Now, do I check when I get home again today? I've never tried an OPK before.

  23. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@kpow: morning! Congrats on the + OPK! Was it two equally dark lines? With OPKs it's not a "positive" unless the test line is as dark as the control line (or darker). Since your temp spiked, you probably O'ed last night, but I'd test again tonight if you want, just to see the difference (if any).

  24. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@marionberry: HOW do you not have crosshairs?? Your chart like like, the most textbook chart in the history of charts. Sheesh!

  25. wahine08

    clementine / 957 posts

@Rachel - Thanks! It was actually darker and I had DH check too, which was interesting.. "..Yeah it looks darker. This has your pee on it??" (We're new to all of this!)

I will test again after work. Do these strips expire? I know that the directions say only 30 days after opening the little tube but that seems like a really short life span!

  26. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@kpow: My cheapo wondfo OPKs that I bought last April don't expire until I think December 2013, so you should be good. Sounds like a positive to me! (and LOL @ your DH's comment)

  27. wahine08

    clementine / 957 posts

Oh good, I didn't want to waste these! I know they're a better deal on Amazon but I was going to try Target first and if we need more, then I'll order online. Thanks @Rachel!!

Ok everyone is changing names! Do I tell Mr Bee that I want to change.

  29. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

To change names, go to help.hellobee.com and post a request in the forum there. Mr Bee changed mine within seconds - what a service!!

  30. Shutterbug

@alison206: I'm keeping my avatar to avoid confusion (and because it matches the new UN)

  31. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@shutterbug: Yep yours definitely matches your picture still, which makes it super helpful. And I'm just ignoring the fact that FF is confused. I mean it would be really hard to say, looking at my chart, that I didn't ovulate. When switched to fertility awareness method I'm like 10dpo or something, so I'm just waiting to see if AF comes or not. Otherwise I'll test on the 24th to prevent myself from testing on my bday, the 25th.

  32. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@marionberry: We have to wait ALL THE WAY until the 24th?? Ugh, that's way too long.

  33. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@marionberry: the 24th is so far away! Ugh!

I got a negative OPK today??? Does that matter??

    Oh and my name changed

  34. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

AAAGH WHO ARE ALL YOU PEOPLE!!! Luckily Jojo bears absolutely no resemblance to my actual name

  35. JoJoGirl

    cantaloupe / 6206 posts

@marionberry: NO NO NO NO NO I WILL NOT WAIT UNTIL THE 24TH.

ETA: ugh now I can't reply to you without thinking about the entire mayoral scandal in DC in the 90s.

  36. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@grace, @ladybee, @jojogirl: Ok maybe I won't wait all the way until the 24th...I just know I will by then, because I'm sure it'll be a BFN again and I don't want to ruin my bday. I'll watch my temps. They went down .1 today so if they keep going down there won't be a need. But if they get better I'll be more inclined to test.

@jojogirl: I had to google the scandal and it's a bit funny. Luckily his name was Marion Barry, so it's slightly different. And in a way I'm glad it links to DC since DC played an important part in my life (poli sci major here). But no, I just picked the type of blackberry, since it's one of my favorite fruits and has ties to where I am from.

  37. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@ladybee: A negative OPK after a peak means nothing. I'd trust the monitor. It could be that you had a positive OPK last night and the monitor picked up the surge this morning, but that the OPK no longer catches it? Or it could be that the monitor picked up the first hint of LH surge and your OPK hasn't picked it up yet? I'd be curious to see if you get a positive OPK soon or not.

  38. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@Shutterbug: @ladybee: I like it when your pictures are the same. Doesn't make my brain explode with new info.

    @marionberry: 0.1 doesn't count! I'm glad it isn't a firm resolve to wait until the 24th.

  39. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@grace: Sorry I changed my pic, but it was a personal one, so I had to. I opted for the "University of Oregon" O in lieu of football season. I am an avid Duck Fan! DH just convinced me to possibly test on Sunday, so that's only a few more days to wait.

  40. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@grace lol I know, changing my name even made my brain hurt. You should get started on that spreadsheet

@marionberry: Ok phew! I was like wth? But it just said peek! I did the monitor at 6:30 and the OPK at 11:30 so it's possible I just did it to late. My previous days OPK required FMU so it was a large gap between the two. Off to BD I go!
