@jojogirl, @ladybee, @grace: It was on FAM vs advanced. When I switch to FAM I have crosshairs, when it's on advanced I don't (because of the monitor doesn't match temps thing). I got a BFN this morning. DH is upset. I'm really starting to loathe this TTC thing. Thank God I have an appt with an OB/GYN on Thursday. Maybe I can start moving forward instead of stuck repeating this same event every month.

@marionberry: What?!!?!! How is that even possible? Can't be. Well, I'm with you on the loathing TTC. Secretly, I want a BFP more so that I can stop doing this rather than because it means a baby. I hope that you have a good appointment. It definitely made me feel better to go into the doctor.
I'm in denial...maybe it's only 11dpo and it's too early? It's such a gorgeous chart. Stupid test! I really am sorry. I was so sure. Hugs.

@marionberry: you've got to be kidding! I'm sorry, I know it's hard. Hopefully your doctor is helpful. I'm with you and @grace. I'm so sick of us forcing ourselves to dtd and all the waiting. Yes I want a baby but I really want to go back to a normal life. *hugs*

@grace, @ladybee, @jojogirl: Thanks ladies. I just kind of knew the moment my temp was 98.1 this morning that it would be negative for some reason (despite a dream where I tested pregnant last night). DH is totally upset and I am too, but have to be strong for the both of us. I would give up everything I have for a normal life with a baby in it. Jenny Renny predicted next month is my month, so I guess I'll hold on to that for now. Thanks for the support.

@marionberry: Oohh I forgot she said next month. Hopefully that softens the blow a little - try to have faith Your month is coming.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@marionberry: I hold on to my Jenny Renny/Cheri reading too. Even though logical me knows not to I put my faith into it. Hopefully you'll prove Jenny right.

@jojogirl: At least the farther ahead of me you get in pregnancy, the more advice you'll be able to give when I get there lol.
@ladybee: Ya I want to pull a @jojogirl and have her be right, although I'm not so sure on the boy part, jk, at this point I just want a baby...who cares what sex.
@aprilshowers: Your chart still looks great!

@marionberry: I'm so sorry about the BFN! That sucks so much, big time. I really know what you mean about wanting life to go back to normal. But you don't have to be strong for anyone...you know that. Big hugs your way hon!

@Spaniellove: Thanks. You guys are all so great! I don't know what I'd do without you guys to lean on. Even DH asks me now what everyone is saying.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
Well I got crosshairs after discarding my crazy temps from last weekend.
On another note, anyone ever consider the idea of NOT temping after confirmed O? I think that's how I'm leaning at the moment. Temping makes me a tad bit crazy.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@ladybee: Yea!!!! I'm glad you are back. :). I've thought about not temping after O, but I'm afraid I'll get out if the habit.

I have thought about not temping during the TWW. I'm know that with every temp dip, I'm going to feel sad this means no baby. I'm still so new to this though, so it's interesting learning and seeing how things progress.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: Although I'm not temping at all, I can say that not temping during the 2WW helps my sanity a lot. It doesn't mean I'm not wondering at all! I'm still secretly googling symptoms now and then But it's very manageable.

@april_showers, @strawberrybee, @happygal: All of your charts look fabulous so far!
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@ladybee: I've thought about stopping temping once I know I O'ed, but I sort of like the nosedive as a warning rather than a BFN or AF.
So I'm out as of yesterday - 8 day LP without my progesterone cream. I go in for CD3 blood work tomorrow! So nervous!
nectarine / 2530 posts
@marionberry: Aww, thanks hon! Unfortunately I'm pretty sure I'm out. BFN this morning at 11DPO (I know that's still a bit early, but I also don't feel any different, and if my temps follow last cycle it should start diving tomorrow.) At least I'm getting a good baseline idea of my normal cycles!
cherry / 245 posts
@marionberry: thanks but I think I am out too. I had spotting to a light flow all day Saturday and a little more spotting Sunday and then some spotting this morning. I am actually wondering if AF didnt show up a full week early making my LP a disappointing 8 days.

@Shutterbug: Good luck!
@marionberry: I'm officially mad at your chart. It's not fair to look that good and have a negative test.
@StrawberryBee: @April_Showers: Booo! Sorry to hear that!
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
Just checking in to say hello!! I root for you girls all the time.
@Shutterbug: I hope the bloodwork can get you some answers! Are you also doing the post ovulation labs too?
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@sslm: Yep! I hope this will be the last unmedicated cycle for me. Thanks for checking in on us

@aprilshowers, @strawberrybee: I'm sorry. Officially all 3 of us can attest to the fact that a good chart does not mean a pregnancy.
On a side note, a good friend of mine who got married in august thinks she may be pregnant. Ugh...sometimes you just hate life.
honeydew / 7916 posts
Well...as I posted on the infertility thread, DH's motility has magically jumped to 58%. Which means that we might be doing IUI instead of IVF, and maybe I should go back to charting. (ugh!) And I was really enjoying not waking up to an alarm!
papaya / 10570 posts
@Spaniellove: Wow, his swimmers have had a kick up their, erm, tails?! That's great news, huh?
@marionberry: OMG, how is that even possible? Wasn't August, like, yesterday??? I noticed the thread you posted in which you said she was NTNP. It's all just so unfair, I really feel for you.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: that's great news!!!!
Executive decision in the ladybee household: No temping during the TWW!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@cherrybee: Yep, it sucks, but nothing I can do about it. I gave DH a gift today for handling very emotional me last night.
@spaniellove: That's awesome! What were you guys doing to increase it?! I have a feeling that may be our issue so I'm curious.
@ladybee: I'm very tempted to do that! Just not sure I can let go...I'll have to really think about it.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@marionberry: DH was taking Fertility Blend for close to a month, but only 1 of the 2 pills a day so we don't think that could have been it. We're also wondering if the cooler weather has something to do with it, since he's a runner and was doing a lot of running in the heat...and he trained pretty hard for a marathon earlier this year.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@spaniellove: Well whatever caused it, that's great news. Are you onboard with IUI? If nothing else, it's much cheaper right?!
honeydew / 7916 posts
@marionberry: It took me a while but I think I'm okay as long as they're willing to be flexible about the protocol. I saw your post in the infertility thread about Fertilaid, and meant to tell you - I actually ordered that earlier today to replace the Fertility Blend because we were running out. When I compared the two, it looked like Fertilaid had higher amounts of vitamins. The urologist recommended something called ConceptionXR, but it was like $80/month and seemed comparable to Fertilaid.

i'm a little concerned about the fact that i haven't O'd yet according to OPK's... and i'm on CD19 and I have 30 day cycles....should i be concerned about having a short LP?? This is my first month charting and 3 month TTC. Could the OPK's be wrong ( they are cheap ones) ... what do you think? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3f9297
honeydew / 7916 posts
@Mrs squirreld: Are you marking your -OPKs on your chart? It makes things much easier to remember when you go back and look later. I don't think the cheapness of an OPK necessarily means it's wrong (I use Wondfos/ICs and they're pretty reliable), but your chart looks like you're ready to O! It's possible that you're having a longer cycle this time around, OR it's possible that you have a shorter LP. I've found that the length of a cycle doesn't really matter all that much and can vary; it's really O day that determines how long each cycle is going to be (as long as your LP doesn't vary a whole lot).
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@mrssquirreld: I agree with spaniellove. The length of the cycle isn't important, it's your O day and how long youe LP is. However, after our mc when I was waiting for my cycles to regulate I remember praying for a standard 28 day cycle. It was a need! From your chart, it does look like you are getting ready to O. Have you had a standard 30 day cycle for the last 3 months? This cycle might be longer. I'd assume that before the short LP thing. However, I'm no doctor, I just don't want you to get upset
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@ladybee: Good luck! Let us know how that goes.
@marionberry: :(. I'm so so sorry. I truly though that it was good. Stupid charts....
@Mrs squirreld: Nope! Don't be concerned about anything until you have a whole chart to look at. You can not use the chart to predict anything, just to analyze what will happen. And yeah, I agree with the other girls - this cycle might just be longer. And for what it's worth, I often can't get those damn cheap OPKs to work.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@grace: so far I feel less stressed and clueless about what's going on. I put a lot of pressure on my morning temp though.
pear / 1974 posts
@mrssquirreld: seriously can this stop? I had the SAME problem as you. Third month of charting, the first month using OPKs, I didn't o till CD27! and before that, i was having 29-31 day cycles so i was convinced i had an LP defect since I didn't know when I o'd the previous 2 cycles, but that cycle i ended up having the longest i've had since coming off BC in may, 39 days. Your cycle may still be weird, like mine was, so don't worry. Also, I've been using Wondfo with success, so they do work!
