My work is having a chili contest and I've already used all of my own recipes in prior years. Anyone have a great chili recipe they want to share?
Categories are red sauce chili, non-red sauce chili, veggie chili, and spicy chili.

Mine is such a basic chili:
2 cans diced tomatoes chili ready
1 can diced rotel tomatoes
1 can chili beans
1 can black beans
1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1 onion
garlic
tomato juice
seasonings: chili powder, red pepper flakes, onion powder, ect.
and honestly I think that's it? I used to have a good white chicken chili but I have no idea where the recipe is!

I won last year cant give a recipe though.
I did the normal beans, meat, and tomatoes and then added a pack of store bought chili mix.
Then read online that a few key ingredients are needed so I added some beer, beef bouillon, cocoa powder and masa flour - I kept tasting it as I went along - it was really good!

I don't know if it would win a chili cook-off, but I think it's delicious. We try to avoid red meat, so this is the best turkey chili recipe I've found. The cinnamon and cocoa really give the chili a lot of depth.

I made this paleo chili last weekend and it was freaking amazing... Both DH and I said it was the best we ever had, and he has pretty high chili standards
