Did your LO take a nap on time today? If not, are you making bedtime changes?
LO (2.5) had some quiet time, we watched about 30 minutes of a movie, but no real nap. He usually naps 2-2.5 hours so I'm hoping to start the bedtime routine around 7, we usually start bedtime around 8:30.

No nap today nor yesterday. We probably won't adjust bedtime because I doubt we will be home before then. We were an hour late on bedtime yesterday. Thank goodness LO slept in a little this morning. Fingers crossed she will sleep in a little tomorrow too.

Yes, she would be a mess without a nap. Luckily our family comes to us so that makes it easier. She went down about an hour later than normal but still slept her normal amount of time.

She didn't nap well yesterday at my parents house. Then was up really late. I thought she would fall asleep on the way home but nope. Then woke up a couple times last night. Luckily we are home all day today so she took a good nap. But she will be getting an early bedtime.

I do have a question regarding his area!
If you are hosting and LO needs to nap and say your house isn't really played out to accomadate noise control and LO what do ya do?!
I turned up her sound machine that she normally doesn't use and asked family to keep it low for a few minutes as DH put her down!
Is that wrong?! I mean I would understand if it were the other way around!
Not asking for whispers but not screaming as many do...lol...and only for a few minutes as he put her down, once she is out she is out!

He napped. We are at my moms and she has a crib
Tomorrow we are going to be at my in laws and they just have a play pen. I'm worried he will not like it/climb out.

He doesn't really nap at home much anymore but because he has had crazy lack of sleep I took him on a little car ride and let him nap for about 45min in the car.

No nap on christmas day...he messed around in his crib totally happily for almost 2 hours before I picked him up. i think he was way over excited and couldn't settle down. Went to bed about 30 min earlier than normal and slept 13hrs straight! First time he's ever slept that long!
Today (boxing day) he messed around for almost an hour and a half and just as I was about to give up he fell asleep. So weird!
He's 22 months. i was actually really surprised at how fine he was with no nap yesterday, since he usually sleeps 3 hours.

She took both her naps although I woke her up from the first one so we could get on the road to celebration #2.
@FaithFertility: DD's second nap was at our big celebration with 23 people. I didn't do anything special though. Just laid her down in the pack and play. But I've never bothered to be quiet while she's sleeping because I wanted her to be able to sleep with noise/activities around her.

E refused her nap on Christmas Eve and Christmas day but she seemed ok so we did bedtime as usual. I kinda hoped we could keep her up later on Christmas Day so we could stay at my inlaws a bit longer but that wasn't to be. I was exhausted too in the end so I didn't mind!

@Mrs.KMM: No I totally get the baby sleeping through activity/noise,but I am talking full blown screaming basically! Yes, I have a few of those in my family

Yep, she took a 3 hour nap!! She usually only naps for 1.5 hrs ... Clearly she was exhausted from the crazy ness of Christmas Eve/morning
We went to my parents afterwards and were there until 10pm... She did incredibly well! Now it's 9am and she's still sleeping. Hoping today is a lazy day for everyone

DS only napped an hour! (He usually sleeps for 2.5-3). He is teething hard. Will those darn molars finally break through? Then he can be done with teething!

DD2 took her normal naps, but DD1 was too excited to nap. They went to bed at a normal/slightly late time.

She had a snooze in the car on the way to our Inlaws (30 mins) and will prob get another car nap today since we are doing errands all day! Luckily she's flexible and it doesn't bother her, but the downside is we don't get to relax!

His nap was a short car nap (30 mins). Luckily his mood was pretty good, he usually isn't affected by nap changes.

He had a crap 30 minute nap on the plane Xmas Eve, a short 1 hour nap Christmas Day, and he's currently taking his nap but it took him nearly an hour to settle. We hate disrupting his sleep because it leads to night or early morning waking. He usually gets up at 730am but Xmas Eve/Xmas morning he woke up at 1130pm and 630am for the day, and this morning he woke up at 530am and snuggle snoozed with me until 630am when he was again up for the day. And he's been screaming every time we put him down for sleep. But I guess sleeping in a PNP at a strange hotel doesn't help. Sigh.

My LO napped well yesterday but refused today. She is just too overexcited with everyone here (still). So we are doing dinner bath and bed early and then everyone else will eat dinner after she is down. We've been sitting down for dinner practically at her bedtime every night so she's been up late too. Ready for everyone to leave so we can start to find a routine with the baby too.
@FaithFertility: I'd absolutely ask people to quiet down for a little while. People can refrain from screaming for half an hour!

Ds1 doesn't nap save for random car seat cat naps and that happened a couple times this week.
Ds2 is pretty easy going and kept up with most of his naps per usual schedule.
Both of their night sleep was fine except they went to bed a lil late on Christmas Eve after we got home a bit later from in laws
