I think I'm going to order from vista print because they have a sale and we aren't sending that many 30-40? I'm now trying to decide how many pics of LO on the card is excessive

We're getting our photos taken this weekend and I'm planning to order from Costco.

I think I've picked out a design on Tiny Prints, but I haven't totally committed. I want to have some of LOs' "artwork" (scribbles) printed on the back and need to double check that's possible with Tiny Prints.

I decided not to send Christmas cards this year and will send a winter / new baby announcement after we get newborn photos done. It will include pics of both girls so I don't need to send the Christmas ones a couple weeks before.

@twodoghouse: random, but I know minted just released card where you can have your lo's scribbles foil-pressed on the front of your holiday card.

We are using photo insert cards this year. I bought them literally three years ago, and we've never used them, so this is the year. They're a little more labor intensive in that you have to insert the photo into the card, but I think they're something a little different.

Picked a design on Costco. Just need DH to bring film to be developed to see if we have a card photo contender.

@MaisyMay: Wow, I just looked that up and I love it. My kids are 18 months now and their scribbles are really just scribbles (not like the cute art on the front of the sample), so I sort of think it'd look crazy. But I'm also tempted to do it because I do think our friends and family would love it too. Thanks for the heads up!!

Timehop reminded us that we did our photo for holiday card around this time. Oh, the time we had when we didn't have kids.
We need to figure something out soon. I know we will go to our local animal shelter where they will have Santa pictures done. Need to figure out where we will go for our holiday photo.

I ordered from Tinyprints over the weekend. Normally I prefer Minted but I thought Tinyprints had cuter designs this year! We used a picture from LO's one-year/family photos.

I still need to get our family pics taken! But normally, we order from cardstore since their pricing is competitive. I might try mpix since my photog friend raves about em.

@twodoghouse: I saw some sample ones that were scribbles and they were so adorable, especially because you could add "Annie, age 2" under it to help explain.

Leaning towards Costco since my bro has a membership but only if I can get them delivered.
