DS is going to be about 8 months old at christmas time and i know my parents and inlaws are going to be asking soon what they should get him for christmas. i started an amazon wishlist for him, but was just wondering what i should put on there. i put mostly learning toys like baby einstein things and flashcards. what are you asking for your LO for christmas?

I also try to go practical at this age. Sleep sacks, clothes, bowls, plates, and forks, she needs new plastic bibs.....I know my family will pick out toys for her on their own anyway.

I would also start to think ahead for things around the 12 month mark. So toys like ride on little cars, push walker things, etc. My little one got into bright colorful play food (not that she knew what it was but just fun shapes).
Also around 12 months she REALLY got into books!

I just started making a list for DS! We already have a lot of stuff to hand down to him from DD, but he does need new things, too. This is my list for DS who will be 9 months at Christmas):
convertible car seat
ride on toy (alreayd have this, but need to bring it out of storage)
push toy (out of storage)
simple shape sorter (out of storage)
ring stacker (out of storgae)
Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes
Sensory Balls
Sippy Cups
Camelback Water Bottle
books
annual pass to the zoo or baby gym (or some kind of baby classes, depending on where we're living)
