Do you get a gift for your boss? I have a couple bosses, I am not even sure how many people work in the office but they are all my bosses/recruiters. Anyways how much do you spend, and what do you get?

No gifts here, which I'm thankful for! He would be difficult to shop for.

Our admin generally solicits donations and we all get our boss a group gift - gift card of some sort. She gives all of us gift cards as well.

I've never gotten my bosses anything!

Where I used to work my coworkers, bosses, and I all did an exchange. We were all pretty close so we would get something that fit their personality, nothing too expensive though. Around $15.

My office has a no gift policy but we have a white elephant exchange during our holiday party.

I usually just bring in some kind of Christmas sweet that I made and give that.

My boss supervises 4 employees, myself included. Last year we each gave $10 to get him a gift card.
I would have to be really close with my boss in order to go out of my way to get him something from just me (and I'm a terrible gift giver to begin with!)

Sometimes its something small and homemade. For example, jam or cookies, etc

I know maybe it isn't common practice to buy them anything but they have gone above and beyond working with me and have really cared about me during my illness. I really apreciate them and what they do.
