I know it's super early, but I'm trying to break up the cost of Christmas gifts for all of our families, and I started thinking about gifts for DD2. I don't want to leave her out, but we already have a bunch of toys/games/puzzles from DD1.

We are in the same boat. I feel guilty not buying her as much but we have SO much already. We may do some joint gifts like a bike trailer.

I'm thinking about an activity cube. I'd always want to get DD 1 one but never did. I think it'll serve dual purposes as alphabet learning for DD 1 as well!

Maybe something they can enjoy together? Like a Radio Flyer Wagon or playhouse/tent?

One thing to keep in mind...I was third child and only about 10 weeks old at my first christmas. I got one little pull toy and that was it. My sister (who was 2) threw a fit wondering why that was all santa gave me.

I think we are going to wrap some of DS1's old toys and clothes for Ds2. He'll only be 7 months so not like he'll know! Also we are planning on a couple joint gifts.

@MaryM: my thoughts exactly! If Chloe didn't get Christmas & ask so many questions, DH and I wouldn't even get each other gifts.
@Bao: same boat as you. I'm thinking some clothes, and a few new toys.
