What do you do when someone spends WAY more on gifts for your fam than you spent on them? Like triple the amount.
Get them something else too?
I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping! Feeling stressed SIX days before Christmas!

I stick with my original gift because I have a strict budget for Christmas. I try not to feel bad about it.

My cousin bought my LO a rocker (I posted it on my fb!) It costs $120+tax+shipping! She has stuff for me too. I bought her a pair of earrings. Felt bad she spent so much so ordered a gift certificate for her too. -.-

I think I would just get them back next time or give them something out of the blue to try and make up for it.

I will feel bad but make it up later...make them desserts, buy a nicer b-day gift, etc.

We always set budgets for ourselves and we stick to it no matter what, so if they want to spend more that's fine but we don't go over our personal limit.

@chopsuey119: She got you the rocker?!?! SO AWESOME. I think that because she's your cousin, you can accept very graciously and feel blessed without feeling guilty. And like @Andrea said, send her something extra special for her birthday or out of the blue.

We spend what we have planned on spending. My brother always spends more on us but our gifts to him are thoughtful and usually handmade. I think time spent on a gift goes a long way if you can't spend as much as others.
