What's your take on Christmas theme parties? Which would you be more excited to attend: ugly sweater or pajamas or favorite character?

I'd feel weird wearing my pajamas out of the house. I prefer to get dressed up for Christmas parties too.

I'd love to host an Ugly Sweater Decorating Party. That would be super fun, people bring a sweater, and I'd provide all kinds of random stuff to attach to it.

I love theme parties and would come to any of the ones you listed, but here are my more specific thoughts:
We had a pj party once, but it was to watch the USA hockey game in the olympics live at 6 in the morning. People wore their pajamas and we made breakfast food. I'd be more willing to wear pjs if it was in the morning or with very close friends/family.
I love a good ugly sweater party, but since they are super popular (we were invited to 4 last year), I'd want something a little more unique.
Is the favorite character theme for christmas characters? Like a snowman, or the kid from A Christmas Story, or Buddy the Elf? Like Halloween, but only Christmas related? I think this is a fun idea and people that wanted to dress up could.
