I don't know about the double, but we have a single City Mini GT and are glad that we sprang for the GT. We live in an urban area and contend with a lot of curbs and bumpy sidewalks. The wheels are great.

We have the double GT for our nanny share and love it. I bought it used on Craig's List for $250.

We have the GT double and LOVE IT. Such a smooth ride and I love having a hand brake instead of a foot brake. The adjustable handle is nice (can't remember if the regular has that feature) but best of all are the all terrain wheels. I think it's definitely worth the increase in price!

@autumnlove: You're joking!! Ours is the 2012 model that we were able to get for a steal (@matador84: from pishposhbaby as well!) and it has the adjustable handle - I can't believe they don't have it on the 2013 model! Craziness...

@autumnlove: @Ree723: its sad how many strollers don't have adjustable handles. It seems like common sense! Our B-agile doesn't, but the B-ready (same year!) does. So annoying because me and my husband are substantially different heights.

eta: following because when I get pregnant, I'm checking this out.
