My LO has stinky feet and I am guessing it's starting from her shoes because she has sweaty feet and sometimes takes her socks off at daycare.
What is the best way to kill the slightly sour odor? Can I wipe them down with a paper towel dipped in white vinegar or is there a better way (and will it make it smell more sour?)? Rubbing alcohol maybe?

Kitty litter, in sheer pantyhose...sound totally nuts, but absorbs odors really well.

Her shoes don't get stinky but when they are dirty, I usually soak in soapy water and then leave them to dry in the sun. Or I'll put them in a pillowcase and run them through the washer.

Dang it... The weather report calls for clouds & rain the next few days.
I did try some rubbing alcohol on the shoes last night and they smelled way less this morning. I'll have to see if they are stinky again tonight.
I had no idea shoes could be washed in the washing machine. I'm guessing run them through cold water so they don't shrink/melt?

The shoes I can, I wash in the washing machine... Includes canvas shoes, crocs, mesh sneakers. And air dry in a place that gets good air flow or air dry in the dryer, otherwise they may stink up again. For my DS who is sweaty I try to only buy those types of shoes. I use a lingerie bag and wash cold on gentle.

I"ve put baking soda in my own shoes with pretty good success! Just right in the shoe, and then I dump it out and wipe the shoe.
