What is the best way to do this?
We just bought a house with new hardwood floors and we aren't sure of the best way for keeping them clean.
People are generous in telling us things not to use. Vinegar & water, swiffer, but not what to use.

A microfiber dust mop and a microfiber mop are best. I use the Bona system.
A sniffer will strip the finish. Don't use a shark, either.

Our landlords told us to just sweep and then use a mop sprayed with endust to keep it shiny. Then spot clean with just a little bit of water.

We just moved into a house with wood floors too. The previous owners left us Bona. That's what they used.

Thanks ladies! Now I know what to look for when I go shopping this weekend.

I also used Bona. There's also Bruce hardwood cleaner that's popular; but I think Bona has less chemicals? I'm not for sure but Bona doesn't smell much.

I use the Shark Steam mop with just water. I'll use other stuff to spot treat as needed. But we don't wear shoes indoor and I don't want to use a bunch of chemicals. The maids mop.

Another vote for the Bona system! When my mom and dad put hardwoods in their whole main floor they tried all different stuff and liked Bona the best, so once we got a house with wood floors I didn't even try anything else!
