Please share your success stories here if you got pregnant while taking Clomid. Why were you prescribed it, what dosage did you take, how many cycles it took, etc.
I just spent the last hour reading about successful Clomid induced pregnancies on another site, and it was really encouraging. I couldn't find a thread covering it on Hellobee though, so thought I'd start one!
Looking for something to give me hope in my first cycle on Clomid.

I did 2 cycles of Clomid (50mg) and my third cycle was Femara. I got my BFP on my third cycle. My RE said your chances of a BFP go up every cycle on clomid. Good luck!

I have severe PCOS and couldn't ovulate on my own. We did 5 cycles on 50mg Clomid with no luck, and on our 6th and last cycle we upped it to 75mg and got our BFP Now have a healthy 9 week old. Best of luck to you! It made me act like the devil but is a miracle drug!

I did 3 cycles when TTC DS. I succeeded on 150 mg dosage. I was having issues ovulating on my own (never was figured out)
The good news is that my fertility was boosted after I had him, and now my cycles are good.

I had "unexplained infertility" after trying for a year. I was ovulating but it wasn't "strong" and i had a short luteal phase. Progesterone supplements didn't help though. RE suggested Clomid to make the whole process stronger instead of just the luteal phase. We tried one round of 100 mg Clomid, progesterone supplement and IUI and it failed. 2nd try - 100 mg of Clomid, skipped the IUI and went to Paris for a long weekend instead. Also skipped the progesterone because I was so resigned. Got pregnant with my 9 month old DD that trip!

We tried for 9 months and I started on Clomid because my cycles were 60-70 days long and I wasn't ovulating. I got pregnant on the third (and final that would have been allowed) cycle taking the Clomid! I can't remember what the dosing was.

Family history of infertility. Went off birth control, never got my period. Getting it started with progesterone didn't normalize my cycle, so I moved quickly to clomid. Didn't ovulate on 50mg, did on 100mg. Conceived on my fourth (but third ovulation) round! My daughter turns two in September
The side effects can suck, but it can be a wonder drug. I hope you're sharing your success story soon!

We ttc for almost a year, my cycles were all over the place. Finally prescribed clomid 50mg. Got pregnant on the first cycle. I was in disbelief. A year after my daughter was born we got pregnant the all natural way with DS!

We tried on and off for awhile, but then I was prescribed Clomid (50mg) for PCOS. I took it in combination with metformin because my doctor said it might be more effective. BAM, pregnant the first try.
And like @anewme my second pregnancy required no such intervention!

We TTC for 7 months with cycles that were getting longer and longer (45+ days). Gyn prescribed 50 mg of Clomid. We tried the next cycle and did blood work and I didn't ovulate.
Medical intervention freaked me out a little, so then I did acupuncture for a few months and my cycles started regulating. At 14 months we went to see an RE, did 100 mg of Clomid (nothing else) & bam - pregnant. Had no issues for the whole pregnancy.
LO was born in October, we will probably start trying again next spring and would do Clomid again in a heartbeat!
