We have a small one about 30 minutes from us, but have never gone. I don't think amusement parks are very popular in the PNW. When I live in PA, I had access to 5 different parks. (Hersheypark will always be our local one. DH loves Disney so it tops his list.)

Canada's Wonderland is maybe 40 minutes away.
I have a fear of big amusement park rides, though, so I haven't been in a long time (not unlike my fear of airplanes and leaning on balcony railings...)

Six flags great adventure in trenton, nj. Rye playland in rye, ny. And i suppose you could count coney island/luna park.

Carowinds is right up the road. We usually get season passes.

Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Fiesta Texas are both about 4 hours away.

Well, since my beloved Astroworld was shut down, the nearest one is either Fiesta Texas or Six Flags over Texas, so a good 3-4 hours away. It stinks, I miss going to amusement parks!

We're about an hour and a half from Six Flags New England.
Growing up in PA, we were a half hour from Kennywood - I think I'd actually prefer that!

Canada's Wonderlanf is about 40 min away. Had seasons passes as a kid, now I'm totally sick of it. Rides make me nauseous in my old age

Kentucky Kingdom is 15 minutes away, but it doesn't open until May. Holiday World is an hour away.

There's a local amusement park. It is kind of small, but there's a big water park attached. We're about 2.5 hours from Six Flags Over Georgia.

@bisous: Yeah, when I lived in PA, I was 60 min away from Dorney park. Hersheypark was 90 min away. Dutch wonderland was 45 min away. Great adventure was 90 minutes away.

We have one about an hour away that we usually visit once per summer with my dad's company. I'm excited to take J this year - I bet he'll love it.
Someday we'd love to roadtrip to Missouri Six flags.

Worlds of Fun KC is 30 minutes away from our house. I usually get season passes to Oceans of Fun bc it's 5 minutes from my work - I go sit at the pool with coworkers after work!
We also have Schlitterbahn KC 30 minutes away. I LOVE that place.

We live a couple hours away from Cedar Point. Disney will always be my favorite, but CP is a lot closer. My DH is big into roller coasters, so for him it's great. I like it too but haven't gotten to go in a couple of years between pregnancies and babies!

Worlds/Oceans of Fun is 3 hours away, otherwise we have a smaller one that is 45 minutes away but I doubt we would ever take LO there. It's not very nice.

Six Flags New England is about an hour or so away I think. We have a small one nearby in NH but it's not one we would go to since Six Flags is so close.

We are about 30ish minutes away from Canada's Wonderland but it has been a while since I have been there. I love rides but I hate the lines and crowds.

We have 2 pretty close, like 30-45 mins. One is smaller and one is larger. Plus Canada's wonderland is pretty close to is too if we cross the border
ETA: actually Canada's wonderland is about 2 hrs away...but still not too bad

We have a small, not very good one about 45-60 minutes away. It's so small that I'm not going to even bother posting the name because no one would know what it is.
I think there's one in Idaho or something that we could drive to in like, 11 hours.

Kings Dominion is about 15 minutes away. Busch Gardens is about 45.

Canada's Wonderland is very close to where i live! but i haven't been since high school and was not living close by!

PA really does have a derth of amusement parks, doesn't it? Right now we're in Philly, so we're about 40 minutes from Six Flags. But we're moving back to Central PA within a couple months, so we'll be about 10 minutes from HersheyPark!
