We're less than 20 minutes from Six Flags America. But I honestly forget that it's even there unless I take an alternate commute home and pass it. We went once 5 years ago, when we discovered they had instituted height maximums on a number of roller coasters. My husband is 6'6" and was 2 inches too tall to ride many of the rides, so we don't even consider going there anymore.

Six Flags, but it's about an hour or little over an hour away.

Calypso & mont cascades are water parks pretty close - about 30 minutes.
Canada's wonderland is 4-5 hours away and La Ronde is 2 hours.

@snowjewelz: I've only been once. We went on the Dragon Coaster - it looks like it won't be stable (but really is), and I figured the Cyclone at Coney Island is still going strong!

We live about 45 minutes from Great Adventure. That new ride that goes straight up the middle of Kingda Ka looks like fun! I'm partial to wooden roller coasters, though, so I'm a El Toro fan.

Hey Toronto area Bees, let's not forget Centre Island!
We're physically much closer to it, but I am fairly sure that getting to Canada's Wonderland would be faster in good traffic!
But Centre Island is fabulous for little kids!
