I had DD at the end of September so I just had to worry about keeping her warm. DS is due at the end of May / early June and I feel like its a whole new ball game! What will he need?

I had a september baby too but it was warm here. Just onesies most of the time, sometimes it was just snap t shirts and a diaper.

I say a good hat. And muslin blankets. And maybe an umbrella or parasol.

J was a late-February baby and for the summer he was mostly in just onesies. I also kept baby legs on hand for when we went indoors where there was air conditioning. Carters and gap also has one piece short rompers that J wore a lot.
Typical summer outfit of onesie and baby legs

Our LO was born at the beginning of August, in the middle of a heat wave. This was her for the first month. And sleepers at night. It was really quite sad actually. She had a newborn sized wardrobe to rival most celebrities.

I had a June baby. She wore onesies during the day and I kept a blanket on hand. She slept (haha, slept) in sleepers. We're in NC.

My daughter was born toward the end of April, but we live in a cooler climate. She wore onesies/pants or footed sleepers most of the time when shew as first born. When it was really hot out in the summer she was usually in just a diaper or a onesie and a diaper. We did have a sun hat for her (although, obviously, you have to keep them in the shade at that age) and a little swim diaper because we took her in the pool a couple times when it was 100+ degrees.
Oh- my favorites were short sleeved rompers. We had one from baby gap that I used constantly, and maybe one from Zutano?
