Carter's - Why are your legging so tight at the ankles?? R has little feet and it still is do hard to get the skinny leggings over her feet. Why are some pants big on her in the waist and others fit great??

I hate how every store fits differently. I also dislike how old navy and gap have 6-12 month sizes. At 6m, these items are huge on her! I wouldn't mind a couple gap 6-9 outfits!

@delight: my LO can still wear BG 6-12 month clothes at 17 months!
@Smurfette: I really love Carters's clothes, but some of the skinny jeans/leggings are tight at the ankles! But size wise, I feel like they fit LO best.

Why are skirts so short for little girls? Lo is tall so her tushy shows in every skirt her size. I put leggings on her too.... But it's hot so it would be nice to just have the skirt on.

@delight: I'm a little glad this time. There were a couple of outfits I forgot about (tucked away in drawers) until a few weeks ago!

I just hate how it's hard to find really interesting boy clothing. Everything is so geared towards girls, even sites like Steals. It's rare to find good boy clothes.

@MsLipGloss: She has two one piece outfits from Carter and one is too short and one still fits? Huh? They are the same size.
The ankles kill me though cause I have to stop putting her in pants that fit cause they are so tight on the ankles.

We got a Carter's fleece hooded sweatshirt and pants outfit- the sweatshirt will not go over C's head! Everything else is still big too, and she doesn't have that big of a head. The pants are nice at least.

@Smurfette: all my mil buys is stuff with words on it. That and she seems to have this idea that I love monkeys(?) So all my baby stuff from her has a monkey on it. I don't wanna botber correcting her. DH and I just chuckle when she gives me more.

I hate snaps and unnecessary decorative buttons. Many BG tops have buttons at the nape of the neck that are really hard to close sometimes. And zippers on one-pieces are so much easier than snaps!

@fancyfunction: Yes! The buttons on the back of the onesies from BG are hard sometimes. DH doesn't even do it.

I love Carter's and that's pretty much all she wears but yes I have noticed on some of the leggings they are tight on the ankles, too large on the waist, and also some thing that are supposed to be the same size are completely different sizes.

Carters: The tops in the sets fit H, but the bottoms are way too small. They honestly only would fit a string bean.

@fancyfunction: @Smurfette: I have recently decided that clothes should never have buttons or snaps on the back until baby can sit up. Before that it's like trying to button a fish or something!
Dh not only skipped the buttons, he occasionally out the whole onesie on backwards too.

Why are there not "tall and skinny" sizes??? My kid looks ridiculous walking around with his pants either (1) falling off completely, (2) pinned with a safety pin, or (3) rolled at the waist.

@Mrs. Blue: This! I've found Childrens Place elastic pants to fit my string bean pretty well. And their adjustable waists start at 9-12 months.

@Smurfette: A couple brands do, but most start in later sizes, like @dagret: mentioned, and Finn can't wear 9-12 month yet. In fact, he was in 6-9 months, but they now slip off since he is so active the last couple months.

@Mrs. Blue: Yeah R can't wear 12 months either. Some 9 months Carters fall of her and other fir great. Then BG fits her good but ON are getting tight. I don't get the sizing!
R had a pair of Carter's jeans, 6 months, that were adjustable. She just out grew the length but they still fit her. In fact I might make them capri's this summer!

Why are boys clothes twice as big as girls clothes that are the exact same size and brand?!
Seriously, I bought 2T hoodies for both my kids at target, and my daughters is half the size of my sons. I had to get her a 4T to get the same actual dimensions as his.

I hate how the same sizes at different stores fit differently. Especially when people ask what size he's wearing to buy him gifts.
Also pants, all the legs are so long in my guy, but a smaller size and the waiste is too tight. I have to roll the bottoms of almost all his pants.
