I've started researching different studies and methods on co-sleeping and also the CIO (cry it out) method.

Culturally (Korean), I am leaning towards having our future baby sleep with us in our bed for the first 6-9 months. It's what feels natural to me.

I want to be respectful of hubby (Caucasian) and what feels right for him and also realize that there are many recommendations as to why babies should not sleep in the same bed and that letting them self-soothe is not a bad thing.

I know that each family is different and different methods work for different parents. I was just curious to hear real-life stories instead of all of the case studies I've read on both subjects.

What methods have you used and what works for you and your family?
