Seriously, my heart is just breaking right now for these families. I just want to get inside the shooters head and know what he was thinking, you know?
I have a really good friend who was recently sent out to Denver for 6 months for work; she was at that theater only about 1-2 hours before the shooting. She is soo scared. I cannot even imagine.

This is so absolutely horrible! One of the victims was a 3-month old baby... T&P go out to the families.

It's horrible, I can't believe how many of the victims were children, I believe 6 were taken to the Children's hospital? Seems so strange at a midnight showing, makes my heart ache.

Very sad. I posted about it this morning.By the way I just read an update that the shooter was a medical student and he was dropping out of grad school. I dont know if that had something to do with it. Plus he had booby trapped his apartment. Such a tragically disturbed young man

@Mrsbells: He wasn't a medical student, he was a neurosciences grad student, but was in the process of withdrawing from the program he was in.
I can't believe he booby trapped his apartment.
One can only surmise that he had to be quite ill to do something so horrific.
