If i had to choose between the two, probably white but it depends on the context!
I don't like dark floors/furniture because you can see every imperfection/dust/scratch.

White- I love a beachy look, but I also hate trying to match various wood colors and grains.

I like white. But I have all espresso. I'm trying to buy more white furniture to lighten up my house!
