I had a colposcopy and biopsy done 5 days ago. I had bleeding right away that has been tapering off. I woke up this morning to heavy red blood.

Since it's been 15 months since I had a period, I don't exactly remember what it looked and (TMI) smelled like at the beginning. I passed a big clot into the toilet 15 minutes ago. It doesn't smell like what I remember period-blood smelling like. I don't want to call the dr freaking out that I got my period, but I also don't want to ignore a serious issue. Dr Google isn't answering my question and my dr doesn't open for another hour anyway. Thoughts or experiences?
