I don't usually get jazzed about it. But I will talk about it if it comes up in my mom groups. My odlest son has major constipation issues so I have talked to another mom who's son has similar issues.

I have to admit it seems weird to be like oh yeah by the way hows your kids poop doing but I think our conversations were more on the medical side of things. Both of our pediatricians recomended the same thing so we were talking abou the treatments and such.

by the way I would not take a picture of the kid pooping in the tub. The time it woudl take to get the camera and take a picture is all time that the kid is sitting in the water with poop. The few tiems its happened I yank them out quickly. Pictures are the farthest thing from my mind.

I have never talked about poop with my mommy friends. I'll discuss it with DH, if there is an issue, otherwise I don't have any interest in it either. I don't think people should post poop pictures up on FB. Give me some warning would ya? I would defriend that person ASAP!

I'm not into talking about kid poop with others. That doesn't mean I didn't take a picture of her first poops yesterday. Taking pictures and talking about are two totally different things. I hate it when people talk about their kids poops on Facebook!

We haven't gone through potty training, but I HATE poop talk, unless I'm with other parents and it's a "how does this work", information/advice-sharing kind of thing.
I have never, and hope to never, taken photos of anything poop- or potty-related, and I feel the same way about discussing it in public, especially on something like Facebook. DH has made a few references to poop on Facebook or Twitter and I hate it, and get on his case about it.

@NYCaliMama: I dread diaper changes...I dread cleaning the potty...hopefully it is smooth sailing once the regular toilet is being used by all of our girls?!?

@Coco Bee: yeah we have a step stool/toddler seat, too, but it's a lot easier for her to use the little potty so I'll just deal with it for now. Whatever gets her potty trained first!

I have no interest in talking about DD's poop with others. ...Although sometimes she poops so loudly in public that it's hard to ignore, and that can sometimes turn into a conversation.

DH & I sometimes have poop talks if DS is having some issues. I've had conversations with my mom about the same thing. Those types of conversations don't bother me at all. However, I do not want to see a picture of your kid's poop on facebook. I don't even understand why people think others want to see it. Gross!

So, I have this FB friend and her life is just one of those that you can't stop reading/watching. I would delete her but I can't stop watching, ya know? Anyway, she's a poop talker. She recently posted that the repairman was working on her dryer when her almost 2 year old took off her diaper, ran up next to him, and pooped. She didn't understand why this guy was mad and didn't think it was funny. True story.
