ETA: DD is about 6.5 months now, about to start crawling.

I know I need to, but I'm scared to do it. I don't want to hear my LO cry... because her crying escalates so bad, so quickly. But, her sleep has deteriorated since about 2.5 months old (as soon as she started daycare). Once she was at daycare, she was hit with one cold after another and couldn't sleep well, and therefore woke quite a bit.

She used to sleep 8-10 hours at a time, and then it went to 5, then 3 and now it's down to 2. She takes great naps during the day and goes down easily at night, but she just won't stay asleep for more than 2 hours. I'm not sure if the waking is due to the developments she's been making or just because I've egged it on and nursed/rocked her to sleep when she woke up sick, but I need to do something for the sake of my sanity.

Here's her current sleep schedule:
7:30am - up for the day
9:00 - 10:00 - 1st nap
12:00 - 2:00 - 2nd nap
4:00 - 5:00 - 3rd nap
(sometimes a power nap on the ride home from 5:30-6:00)
8:00pm - bedtime
11pm - 1st wake up
1am - 2nd wake up
3am - 3rd wake up
(sometimes another wake up around 5am)
