Oh I'm so excited! I feel like I've been waiting forever for E to start building things instead of just knocking them down/taking them apart (like blocks and stacking cups).

My ILs have a ton of old wooden blocks (from when DH was a toddler) and we'll build little towers for E to knock down. When we were down this past Saturday he instead of knocking them down he started stacking them.

Then yesterday, he found his stacking cups and stacked them all! Granted they aren't in order, but I think the towers he's made have been much more interesting

I don't know if he's ahead, behind, or right on time with this, and I really don't care--I'm just so tickled by it! I've been putting off buying blocks until he started doing this!
