I'm looking for an affordable Convertible car seat for our nanny to use. I'd like it to have a high rear-facing height/weight limit cause LO is big. I'd also like something that's easy for the nanny to install, since she doesn't always bring the same car. I'd like it to be under $200 and I'm looking at the Cosco Scenara NEXT. Any other suggestions?

Any of the Graco clones would be suitable.

@avivoca: Looking at Graco Size4Me on Amazon now, thanks. It looks like the Cosco seat would be outgrown before he's old enough for a booster so it might be worth it to spend more on the Graco.

The graco contender is kind of a "light" version of the graco clones - the clones are the mysize, size4me, and fit4me. All four seats have the same limits though.
The next is a great budget seat but will be outgrown height wise before any of the graco seats I mentioned.

Target has a car seat sale going on now with some great prices on graco seats if you decide to go that route.

We bought the Cosco Scenera Next for DH's car; my car is the primary vehicle with the nicer car seat. It seems fine. It isn't real plush, but it does the job, and I believe the seat cover can be tossed on the wash.
