Any recommendations for convertible car seats for tall LO's? I'm thinking of getting a convertible seat for DS today as it's cyber monday, and was just about set to get the Britax marathon, but read in some old threads that Britax isn't great for taller LO's.....

We just got a Chicco NextFit - C is in the 80-something percentile for height, and its got a taller shell than the Britax.

We have a diono radian for our 97% girl and love it.

Diono radian has the tallest height and highest weight allowances and is supposed to be slim for other seats to fit next to it. My lo is in the 20th percentile for weight and 90th for height so that is the one we are looking at.

We have the peg perego primo viaggio sp 70 for our tall LO. I think the diono radian is one of the best for tall kids, as long as it fits well in your car.

It depends on how long you want to rear face and how you define tall... I think a lot of techs have a percentile that they reference for height on the Britax seats, i don't know what it is off hand.
We were able to use a Britax Boulevard rear facing until my son turned 32 months. He's consistently in the 65th percentile for height.
