I'm working on switching all of our pans to non non-stick. I've gotten cast iron skillets (large and small-ish), and a dutch oven. I need something smaller, like a 1-2 quart pot, but I'm not seeing those in stores. On amazon, yes, but in stores it's mostly what I have, or enameled. Which I'd love, but I can't drop that kind of money on pan. So firstly, does anyone have any thoughts on finding that size in a store so I don't have to pay shipping on something so heavy.

More importantly, anyone have any tips on cooking with cast iron. I'm new to it, so anything goes. And how about storage? It's so dang heavy I almost just want to keep all my pans on the stove all the time!
