@Foodnerd81: I do roll over and go back to sleep but yes, there are a few seconds for adjustments. I sleep in either a nursing tank or tank and easy access bra. Feed the bambina, she rolls over, I fall back to sleep. I've woken up with my tank top or bra still down and boob completely exposed.

ETA: even though we have our crib sidecarred, LO sleeps either in between the both of us or on the outside near me or in her crib.

I just wear a tank, no bra. Just pull up the tank. Done. I prefer a fitted tank to a tee because I get nervous with the loose fabric of a tee draping over his face accidentally. I tend to fall asleep while nursing him at night.

I don't leak at night, but I'm 7 months pp. I did at first, so I wore a nursing tank with pads (change the pad when they get wet!).

We sidecar now, but we didn't use to. Before, he slept on my side because DH sleeps too hard for me to feel comfortable with LO sleeping right beside him when he was really small. Now, I'm fine with it. If you'd rather him sleep on your side, you can get a bedrail so you don't have to worry as much about LO rolling off the bed.

My LO sometimes dribbles milk onto the bed when he nurses. It doesn't really bother me. It just dries up and I forget it's there!

I wear a tank or a sleep bra and just pull it down. I used to leak early on, so I would also put a nursing pad in, but I wouldn't always remember to pull the shirt and pad into place. It wasn't a big deal, you just might end up washing your sheets a bit more. Now I rarely leak, so I don't need one. I also tend to wear pants and a cardigan or light robe, so we don't have to use blankets.

For us, our LO usually sleeps between us or between me and a bed rail, depending on what side he was last nursing from. I've heard it isn't as safe for babies to sleep next to dads, though, so we didn't have him next to DH for a long time. I would have done a crib side car or pushed our bed against the wall if it was an option, but instead I just slept with him in the crook of my elbow all night when he was smaller. Now he rolls, crawls, and moves around a lot in his sleep, so he's between us more often. LO also likes to sleep in the very center of the bed, on his back, completely stretched out, so I end up scrunched up on the edge of the bed pretty often, haha.

I wear a sleep nursing bra and a tank and just pull both down. Takes like a second and usually I don't even put it away so my boobs are hanging out all night. lol When I used to leak, I would wear pads and I used to keep a waterproof pad underneath where I slept to protect the mattress. That bugged me after awhile so I took it out. He does dribble milk or drool or whatever and it leaves a little wet spot but it doesn't bother me.

When he was younger, it wasn't as easy, because I would have to help him latch. Now I can just whip it out and he latches on himself and I'm usually back to sleep very quickly. Also, he used to sleep curled up next to me, but now that he is fully mobile, he rolls away from me when he's done nursing.

I put up a bed rail on my side of the bed and I switch him back and forth. So when he wakes, I grab him and bring him to my chest and we both roll to the other side. We do this throughout the night depending on how many times he wakes up.
