I really want a dress for my shower in a little over a month and I was thinking about ordering one of these from eshakti but I've never ordered from them before and I'm worried that none of them will work with my bump even with custom sizing. Thoughts?

How far along are you? I am 36 weeks and I think the waist on those would not fit me at all!!! Anything below my bra band is to tight.

@MrsScottish: I'm 22 weeks. They do custom sizing, so I thought maybe if I did that it would fit.

If they custom size, it could fit. When I was pregnant, I couldn't wear anything that cut straight across my waist (what waist??!!) or I'd look pretty comical. I'm very short though.

I don't think you will want anything straight across your waist?? If you don't want maternity, how about a maxi dress?

@BandDmommy: I don't mind maternity but I want something like these, sort of a retro modern look and I can't find anything maternity like that.

That would be tough with the natural waist. I think empire waist would work but I don't know if retro style dresses really ever have empire waists.

I have ordered from them before for a gala dress when I wasn't pregnant. It fit like a glove and is the most beautiful dress I own, probably. Not sure if that helps except that they make great dresses!

Those are super cute but I would probably go with a maternity dress. Personally, those would have been very unflattering on me while pregnant. Maternity clothes are made to look good on pregnant bodies. They also do not look very stretchy... You never know how much you're going to grow in a month.

I think the second one could possibly work if the waist hit at your lower rib cage rather than natural waist. It looks sort of high, so maybe? Hard to know though!
