My son has some cradle cap, and also has quite a bit of hair. My ped said to put olive oil on his scalp and comb off the flakes with a fine tooth comb if the flakes were bothering us aesthetically, but I'm really worried his hair will come out with the flakes! When I scrape off flakes with my nails, the flakes often come off with a couple hairs attached to them.

Has anyone had success at getting rid of cradle cap and keeping the baby's hair intact?
