OMG! I didn't follow the threads that closely this weekend. You're pregs? CONGRATS!!!!!
Re: cramps. Yup, had them pretty bad, like my period was coming. Sometimes they would wake me up in the middle of the night. They used to scare me too. =\

Yes i had them, mine were quite painful actually but I was told they were supposed to be mild cramps. My OB said the cramping was caused by the uterus stretching

I had off and on cramps through like 7 or 8 weeks pregnant. Felt like mild period cramps to me!

@banana: I didn't announce on the threads, but have been starting suspicious threads apparently! HAHA.
Thanks!
@Mrsbells: Okay good to know! I didn't have cramping with my first pregnancy!

I had them on and off (more on than off..) throughout the entire first tri! my OB said blood = a call, but cramps are normal

I have twice, my dr told me that if you are "small"/thin this is because your uterus is just stretching.

I'm 8 weeks today and have had mild cramps the whole time. My doc said the exact same thing as @sorrycharlie... that as long as you don't get spotting along with the cramping then you shouldn't be alarmed. However she did say if they were severe enough that Tylenol did nothing to help then I should call her... but I've never had them that bad.

Congrats!!
I definitely did -- especially around weeks 5-6... Then they stopped around 7/8 weeks! Sometimes I still get an occasional cramp here and there.

Congratulations!
I had a lot of mild cramping early on that stopped around 7 weeks. And now I get them occasionally still.

Thanks everyone! These cramps were starting to stress me out a little! Especially since I didn't cramp at all with #1.

I cramped until week 10ish... They were pretty gnarly, too. I never cramped during my period, do this was something new for me.

I had cramps SO! bad my first trimester. The first time they got really bad I went to the emergency room, but everything was fine. I slowly learned that they were just a normal part of pregnancy for me. They went away around 10 weeks. It felt like I was always about to start my period or on my first day. I also had a dull, achy lower back.
P.S. Congrats on your BFP! I hope to get pregnant when my baby is 12-14 months.... you'll have to tell me how it is!

Yup it felt like mild period type cramps. I kept expecting to see my period when I went to the bathroom, but nope! It went on til about 10/11 weeks.

I definitely did!! It felt like my period was coming. My RE told me it was RLP -- from your uterus already starting to grow and stretch to make room for baby!

Having some cramps, worse than my usual menstrual cramps, but if I do tiny umis (internal hip circle) it vanishes before the third circle.

Yes! I had HORRIBLE cramps during the first tri - like doubled over, breaking out in a cold sweat, shaking, and the occasional episode with vomiting or loose bowels (TMI, sorry) because they were so bad. My doctor said the same as several PPs - as long as there's no blood, they're fine. They started at 4 weeks, right before the BFP and went away for good around week 8 or 9. I'm now 31 weeks and everything looks good!
Congrats on your pregnancy!
