My chiropractor told me this story yesterday while I was at the clinic - he knows the people but I do not.
A couple was pregnant with twins and delivered at 6 months. Both babies required long stays (I think 3 months) in NICU after birth but are doing really, really well today.
The parents both went back to work right away to save their time off for when the babies came home. They were seriously running themselves ragged going to work, then straight to the hospital and only going home to sleep. For 3 months.
After about 10 weeks of this, the doctors & nurses got together and told them that they needed a break and to take a night off. They assured them they'd add a nurse to the staff that night and they'd call if anything happened, but that the parents should take a night and enjoy eachother's company.
You can probably see where this is going...
9 months later, they had another baby!
I've heard of 2 babies in a year, but not 3! Anyone have another crazy story?
