Out of curiosity, did you marry your first love?
I personally did not marry my first love and honestly could not see myself marrying him either. But what's your stand on marrying first loves...romantic or antiquated?

Yes I did. We met freshmen year in college which was back in 1997 and have been together ever since so I am cool with the concept.

I did. We met when we were just shy of turning 18. Now we're 23 going on 24 and still super happy together. So it definitely works for some people.

Nope. He's the 3rd. And I was his 3rd. I was 22 (almost 23) and he was 24 (almost 25) when we met... each of us had 1 serious HS and 1 serious college relationship. Third times a charm clearly!

We were both married before to our high school sweethearts and we both got divorced 
So yes I guess, but it didn't work out.
Then we each had one serious relationship in between and then found each other.

I think it depends on what you consider your first love. I was really love with my first boyfriend, and definitely would consider him my "first" love. But now that I'm married to my husband, I realize that it could be so much deeper and more meaningful so I tend to think that he is my first "love".

Sure did! He was my first boyfriend and I was his first girlfriend. That being said, we both had crushes on different people when we were younger (started going out when I was 24 and he was 28).

My husband and I are high school sweethearts. I had dated other people and thought I was in love but I really consider my husband my first true love. I'm the only girl my husband's ever dated so I *hope* I'm his first love, haha.

Nope! Sure didnt. We both were previously married. So he is like my 3rd. So yeah...looking back I cant imagine being with my 1st love from College. We both turned out to be very different people. My second (ex husband) was an abusive you know what...so glad I got out of that! ; )

My husband wasn't my first boyfriend and wasn't the first person I said "I love you" to or the first person I thought I loved but the longer I'm with him the longer I realize he is the first person I've ever, truly loved. There's no comparison in terms of the feelings I had for ex-boyfriends and the love I have for my husband. Husband wins, hands down.

Yes, I did. We started dating at the end of 11th grade when we were 16/17. We broke up for about a year in college (his choice...I was devastated) and I "dated" someone else for a short time. Eventually, we got back together and he proposed less than a year later. We got married at 21/22 after we finished college.

I didn't marry my first love, and thank goodness! I have learned and grown a lot since my first love, and DH is my true love

I married before I graduated at 17 years old, divorced 6 years later. Worst relationship ever, words don't even begin to describe it. My husband and I dated for a little while in HS, because of our age difference at the time my parents did approve at all. We ran into eachother a couple years ago, rekindled our love and have been married for a year

Nope. I would say the guy I dated in High School was my first love but we weren't meant to be. He was a great person who treated me right and I hope he is with someone wonderful now.
I went through a lot of frogs to meet my prince charming, that's for sure. I could not have found a better match for a life partner than my husband.

sort of? I thought I was in love before, but in retrospect it was a pretty silly relationship (my first relationship lasted a year but I was 13-14--it was more drama than "love!"). I don't think I really fell in love until I met DH, but I'd been in relationships before. same thing with him--I was his first real gf even though he'd dated before.

I guess you could say I did. We've been together since we were 18, went to senior prom together and everything. We've been together for 6 years, married for 1 and are expecting a baby.
