That happened to us, too...our skirt was designed for the highest level. I would tuck it in under the mattress when we moved it down but it was a pain every time I washed the crib sheet. When LO was standing up all the way and we moved the crib down to the lowest level, I took the crib sheet off altogether since it looked kinda silly We used it for about 7 or 8 months, but I feel like I wasted money on it!

You could use that no sew hem tape to "hem" it up. We ended up taking the skirt off when the crib is at the lowest setting, but we also converted the crib to a toddler bed at that point.

My mom is making one for me and the plan is that when we lower the mattress that we'll just take it off. The whole reason I want one is so that I can't see the mattress platform and then crib bars below that.
