Please sell me on your Crock-Pot or Instapot. I had a Crock-Pot for 5 years. It worked great, but I didn't realize you couldn't put the ceramic part in the fridge and it eventually cracked. We bought a different model and broke after 6 months. It was under warranty and the company sent us a replacement of a different version and it gets so hot on the outside (the metal part) that I burned my hand when I touched it. It had only been on low for 45 minutes, so I don't trust it on when I'm not home or around my toddler

What I'm looking for is something I can set and have cook safely when I'm not there. For those of you who have a Crock-Pot or Instapot you love, what brand/model do you have? And selling points or quirks?
