I debated sharing this, I in no way intend to start a debate, and I know it's a deeply personal choice, but as my gender scan for baby 2 approaches next week, I realize I'll be potentially faced with making it myself. As a person who'd just always assumed I'd circumsize a son if I had one because its the "norm," some research, learning it's not the norm in most cultures, nor in the US anymore, and watching this presentation video, made me decide the opposite. I am sharing in the spirit of presenting information I'm glad I have, before having to make the decision myself. Please understand I think all parents who weigh the decision either way, and decide to do what they believe is best for their child, is a wonderful parent. I just found the video powerful and informative.
