Does anyone have this knife set for their older kids?

I'm wondering how well it actually cuts? The review ratings are great, but some of the actual reviews say the blade is really dull.
For reference my daughter is 3.5 and currently uses a wavy vegetables slicer and I want to upgrade her to a "knife".
